You guys have singlehandedly made me a Battlefield fan, picked up 1 yesterday (my first Battlefield game and first FPS purchase since COD:MW2) and I could tell in the first 5 minutes online that it was a wise purchase, waaaay more fun in that short time than my entire 30 minutes with the Infinite Warfare beta (fucking quick-scope nonsense)

What is the best gun for assault and support

Mathieu Smerdon the mp18 from assault (the starting one) is a great all around gun. Though the Hellreigal (probably spelled wrong) is very high regarded once you hit rank 10 in assault. for support, the BAR Storm is great after the recent patch.

Mathieu Smerdon well, I really like the mp18 experimental (it's 3 round burst for great accuracy) or the automatico m1918 or the model a-10 hunter shotgun that has incredible range (these are for assault) and for support I either like the BAR or the benet mercie

Flabby Wall1 BAR trench for run and gun, I like the Scoped LMG with the weird mag. and for suppression i use the mg18, Lewis suppressive. that's it really

If you have people to play with and squad up with it's pretty fun but if you're just going to play solo and join randomly well it's sort of meh. I'd wait for a bit more of a price drop or buy used if it's the latter.

smn475 You don't really need to rely on ADS as much on keyboard and mouse as you need to on controller.

ahmad al khateeb Yeah it does. You have more control with a mouse than you do a joystick, so you don't have to aim down sights in some cases that would be necessary with a controller, such as close range.

Erin Spruill wrong because using mouse and keyboard is more accurate u can aim down sights and your shots can pretty much hit 100% of the time while on console if you ads with worse aim you might miss close to 100% of the time(if you're not aiming directly at the enemy) but if you hip fire on console and aim in the same spot(near the enemy but not directly at him) you'll hit more shots while on pc you'll be giving up the chance too hit near 100% of the time(when you ads) if you hip fire you obviously get less accuracy but honestly hip firing the mp 18 at close range (just like in the clip) is really effective doesn't matter what platform you're on. sorry for the shitty explanation

ahmad al khateeb Well, with a lot of games, when you ads near a person when they're close it'll usually snap to the player because of the auto aim.

It takes a lot for him to do it I think. He can do it during a pre-planned recording, but doing it quickly on the spot is likely difficult.
