Battlefield 1 Sniping is so satisfying, and this game is great. So much fun to come back and play it. There really is nothing like Battlefield. Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
I would say the same but this guy is just a watered-down BF experience that catered to Cod fans. Terrible nade spam simulator that punishes pilots and removed the "Battlefield moments"
Seriously dude, love it so much 😍 This needs more upvotes!! I remember watching Jack🐸s & Fabian hitting headshots left & right since I'm not such a good player & neither have a good setup.
Hope you had the chance to also try BF3 and BF4, the *true* Battlefield experience in my opinion. But yeah BF1 is a great game if you don't mind the historical setting.
@@giambaJ I did, and while I enjoyed bf3’s campaign it had an alright multiplayer with wacky controls. BF4 sucks tbh and I only play it due to how easy it is to find a custom match
Battlefield 1 had a certain charm to it. Even when there was that initial drought of content after it was released, the Operations game mode, atmosphere and the moments kept me going. Man, I loved this game.
I remember getting this game and 40 monster energy drinks for Christmas when it came out and all I did was drink monsters and play bf1 probably my best Christmas ever , what an amazing game
As much hate as this game got when it released, it's a damn good game. There's nothing that compares to hitting a snipe from 100+ meters with bullet arc, or blowing a hole in the ground and using it for cover as tanks run you over. Still truly one of my all time favourite games
Was one of my favorite Battlefields to play, sadly I got bored super quick w the lack of content. I'd argue the criticisms were valid although I'd agree it's still a damn good game
the people that hated this game on release are false gamers and the people still still hate it today also also false gamers that is not my opinion, it is pure facts
It's a great game but it's limits on really competitive gamers is not great as it's it pandered towards 90% of the the population to be able to compete with better players
This game holds so many good memories for me. Played countless hours with my mates, especially during the beta period. So many good laughs and ‘only in bf’ moments. I have a real appreciation and love for this game, and I almost wish I could go back to 2016 and experience that time with my best mates again.
Battlefield 1 has always this charm to it. It's gritty, beautiful, and there's so much to do. It's so exciting when you push with you're entire team- no other game I think has had this feeling.
I wish that everyone would stop playing BFV and just start playing this again! *Edit* - Editing this comment because a few people are not reading the responses. This is ONLY TRUE on the US servers on the PC platform. It was mentioned multiple times, but a few people keep responding and basically calling me "an idiot". But really, the problem is that those people just weren't reading and clearly (based on their responses) are not from the same area, and therefore do NOT use the same server type :/. Just a little disrespect coming my way from those goons =P
@@zumorito497 how do you play ANYTHING?! Dude, get an 8 GB stick/kit. It’ll save your life and RAM prices rn are nice for some fast memory (at least in Canada)
Honestly bf1 was the battlefield I hated most, I play bf5 simply for the ww2 kinda experience. Bf4 is still the best IMO. WONDER IF THEY WILL JUST REMAKE 4 W ALL NEW MAPS AND NEW GUNS???? LOL
Ah, this game man. I used to watch gameplay when I was too poor to have a console or pc that could run it. Now I can play it and it’s something special!
@Rund nah not in my corner of battlefield friends (who came from bf4 and were expecting great things from bfv) in the end a lot of them left bfv for bf1!
I loved this game at launch. I played so much if BF1. I poured a few hundred hours into the Russian expansion when it finally released. Was one of my favorite map packs ever produced by BF.
Hate all you want, this game is a classic and one of the best battlefields. The environment, chaos, atmosphere really makes you feel like you're there. And don't get me started on the soundtrack.
I quit the game after like 3 months, bc it didn't have much customization, which is weird since I played the shit out of Call of Duty 2 back in the day
Agreed, and there was something about seeing those maps that had traditional European architecture that made the game feel like "what a shame for this to be happening in a beautiful place like this" but still you pressed on for the sake of winning for your mates
The soundtrack is absolutely great. I find myself playing it more and more and I have continually mentioned to myself the beauty of the maps and how good the soundtrack is.
Theres something relaxing in it. When i watch wz vids theyre way more tense, even solos. But when i watch him play bf having fun and just enjoying gameplay it makes me feel happier too. Theres just some sweetspot for this content in my head or its just nice to watch something not too serious. Like family movie vs thriller, the atmosphere changes a lot.
This was my first Battlefield game and its the reason that I'm even taking History as a subject in school. The atmosphere that was put into this game just amazed me and gave me a whole new hobby. BFV was alright too.
Honestly didn’t appreciate this game as much as I should have when I was playing it. Had its problems to begin with and throughout like loot crates but was such a beautiful game, great campaign and one of the best soundtracks/scores in a game. Period. Seriously underrated
BF1 really got me into history, because it made me realise how little I actually knew about that conflict. It will always have a special place in my heart
That's one thing about this game with conquest it always felt like there was a front line everyone on the map was at rather than everyone being spread out if that makes any sense. 🤷♂️
I just recently started playing this game again. I still find full matches of operations. The game is such a gem, and still worth playing in 2020. We need new battlefield game as good as this one. BF5 was a disaster.
I just returned to play Battlefield 1 with my friends and i didn't even remembered that you can destroy the zeppelin using a heavy bomber. Epic and masterpiece of a game.
Hey Jack, when Bf1 released that was when I actually found your channel and started watching, and I've been an avid viewer ever since, just wanted to thank you for all the content and good times you gave me along the years, cheers mate!
I just can't get over how good this games graphics are and how good those guns sound. Speaking of gun sounds, the Martini Henry sounding off in this game is music to my ears
@tommy norton It’s only gonna go up to, especially since it’s part of the free PS plus games. Been putting more hours into this than Miles Morales and Cold War combined
I think i'm the only one that performs and sees better when playing on high or ultra... i prefer high or ultra for competitive gaming rather than playing on low... i cant see shit on BF games when set on low.
Immersion for me was when they had back to basics game mode which focused on bolt actions rifles-no tanks-no planes. All the full auto weapons being used makes a mockery out of ww1-especially the Hellriegel which basically didn't exist in combat. The gas grenade didn't exist either. Gas should've been relegated to some artillery pieces on maps instead of making it ubiquitious in the game. I DO LOVE THE GAME though. I also like BFV and BF4.
I am glad you go back and play this from time to time. BF1 was the first multi-player I played after getting internet at my house for first time ever. Multi-player was a whole new world for me.
Now those were the days. Charging Calvary with sabres. Spraying heavy machineguns. Bolt action rifles shooting at long range. Raging that he is better than you 🤣 AA's devastating the skies Huge battle maps with half of gameplay a Behemoth or the Zeppelin arrives. Huge battles over France with the Zeppelin and diving planes to cause chaos over France. Ottoman empire attack with Behemoth Battleship. Now those were the days. Thank you for the video full of wonderful memories of joy!
Its understable because cod is just fast run and shoot, its a game you can join and just enjoy the shooting and get bored after a while. Bf on the other hand has so much stuff like tanks, Planes, artillery behemotes and Huge maps. So you Dont get bored that fast
0:48 I literally spat out my water, I was like Oh!! (insert gargle noises LOL) when Jack destroyed that plane. BF1 looks so bloody nice man, I love the art design in this game. Sinai Desert is my all time favorite BF1 map I just love how beautiful this map looks in the hot, bright desert sun. Oh and that head shot sound is so good. I Also like the planes they are so much fun to use.
I remember few years ago when your channel wasn’t that big. Battlefield was the first video that I watched on your channel, and now I’m still watching battlefield 😂
It's weird how everything seems to be hated at release and then gets fondly remembered years later. It's a microcosm of the internet I guess: it's just seething hatred of the present and outright nostalgia of everything in the post.
The release was good. Early on it was smoking. The lack of content hurt it and leveling up/few unlocks was an issue. It was stuck with 9 maps for a long time and people got bored.
I agree with you completely. I remember BF1 being hated, and now here we are. People seem to love the game now and talk positively of its early days. Very weird phenomenon.
The people who love the game are playing it and having fun with it, not wasting their available gaming time whining about it online, only the haters are doing that. After a few years even the people who like a game move on to other things, and then they start watching videos on RU-vid for nostalgia's sake. That's why "everyone" seems to hate it at first and then love it later.
This brings back epic memories of being a frontline medic suppressing oncoming ottoman troops while at the same time reviving fellow soldiers holding the line.
BF1 was the most epic multiplayer game I ever played. No stress, Good game mechanic, no try hards, feels like you in a war, good cinematic, and even if you in a losing side you still have fun cause of the secret weapon vehicles. Sadly battlefield 5 can’t have the same feeling.
For me, both are awesome, I don't known, Battlefield 1 looks like a child raised with love by the devs with smooth animations, satisfying sound effects and really good atmosphere, but the bullet recoil don't make any Sense (I said BULLET RECOIL not BULLET DROP)
I miss Battlefield 1 so much. Servers were empty once Battlefield 5 came out, and that was a dumpster fire IMHO. I'm amazed you could find a server with people playing.
Thats why BF1 is still one of the best bf games, it has battlefield moments every few min every game no question. Its just truly a fun game to play and you can feel Dice had a vision for the game. Compared to BFV where the vision is a confused mess and the battlefield moments come sometimes maybe if your lucky...
@@ronussThe only true BF Moments in BF1 are killing planes with grenades, killing pilots with sniper rifles and destroying planes with cannons/tanks. The rest is basic FPS stuff you can do in any game.
this game was so beautifully designed. the game still gives me vibes of actual war keeping that in my head and enjoying the world around the sounds and visuals they way everyone runs in the begging, planes, trains , tanks , horses OHH LORDDDD THIS GAME IS BEAUTIFULLLLLLLL
One of my favorite moments for this game was being in a bomber, a fighter shooting you from behind so you switch to the tail gunner with that running animation through the plane and then destroy the fighter while you glide slowly towards the ground as splinters fly off from either plane
This game felt like the developers put a lot of love and hard work into it, they seemed proud of what they’d produced. It started to shift the tide on Call if Duty until Battlefield V undid all the hard work. Amazing game.
