Here in 2024. I still play BF1 32vs32 hardcore conquest every night. Up to about 140k kills in the game in multiplayer. Havnt bought or played another fps shooter since this came out in 2016 because BF1 is a masterpiece and is the most balanced fps game to ever exist. Why play/buy something else, some other shovelware trash when I have BF1 perfection already? The campaign is memorable, 98% of everything is historically accurate and not infected with cancerous liberal ideology. This game marks the pinnacle of fps games before the downfall of the entire industry when peoples brains broke after the 2016 election. I will always and only play BF1 because i will not reward any company or game with my money who put their political ideology ahead of making an awesome game.
as someone who has played the game for numerous hours, i can say conquest is a little bit disappointing, mostly because of the respawn time (ten seconds) which is a hefty amount of time in my mind. A fun game mode in my opinion is team death match. I have yet to try out operations, but ill have to find out how it is.
I watched this trailer 5 minutes after it came out because I was skipping class in high school and managed to get lucky with timing. Here I am 8 years later still getting hyped tf up by this trailer. Here’s to hoping bf6 can give us this level up hype.
Isn't it crazy how not only was one of the greatest trailers in recent memory, but it also 100% lived up to the hype and even surpassed it? Absolutely crazy how they went from this to the last few Battlefields
@@UbisoftVaCreverit's sad to see that dice went the halo route with the battlefield franchise, except that they're doing it themselves unlike how halo was developed by bungee until the game was acquired by 343 (which promptly then made the future halo games have sometimes outrageous microtransactions and scummy business tactics)
@@theman13532Idk if you already know this, but the DICE now isn't the same DICE that created BF3, BF4, BF1 and BFV, they left because of EA's dumbassery and now made a game called The Finals and are called Embark Studios now.
+1XbatistaX1 And if its like bf4 in its first while it is "the camper shot me from behind the wall" lol, i love batlefield and couldn't play cod ever, tried it at a friends place(cuz i havent played since original black ops(which i prefer the story for BF3 better)) and got sick of how little customisation there is
this one and the gamescon trailer with johnny cash. i was a dang junior in highschool bouncing in my chair in english class when i saw the reveal lmao. crazy to think how fast time flies...
8 years later and this MFing trailer atill gives me goosebumps. One of the best trailers ever, and from a time Battlefield was still an enjoyable experience.
Yes fr 😢I'm sad I can't experience my first time playing this game again, I didn't have an Xbox 1 but 360 and went over to my rich friends house cause they had a party and he was in his room playing the new battlefield 1 Game so I asked to play after and once he let me I was hooked and ended playing like 7+ hrs straight of that Game 😂while the party lasted till the morning
Not only was this the greatest video game trailer of 2016, not only was this the greatest video game trailer of the 2010s, not only was it the greatest video game trailer ever, but it is the greatest trailer for any form of media in history. And then, somehow, the same company that made this masterpiece, made Battlefield 5 and Battlefield 2042…
Don't get me wrong, Im extremely excited for Battlefield 2042, and really enjoyed the new trailer, but man is this trailer still epic!! NVM forget I said anything about 2042! -_-
@@elzeyd8962 Well it means you aren't a bf OG player, since every OG player had goosebumps by watching the rendezook part. It was the best trailer for bf fans.
@@maddog526 that's what i used to do and they do deserve blame. BUT BF5 was the fault of DICE. The way the DICE lead devs talked about the game, the fanbase, and the decisions they made after the game released showed me they had no vision, no drive, and no true plan. That's not on EA, Its on DICE.
+Archey Burger I'm pretty sure one of the dev's posted on twitter shortly before bf1 was announced how much he loved the classic battlefield soundtrack. So I think it will be likely
I hope so. I actually hope that they do a good job with the campaign. WWI has so many interesting stories that haven't been told in a way like this. I understand that multiplayer will forever be their focus, but right now, I am growing a little tired of the competitive shooter model. I want to have an engaging and memorable campaign. I guess we can only wait and see.
I remember when people expected Battlefield to go to either another modern setting or WWII, and then BOOM, this trailer comes out, revealing it is actually the frikin WWI! People were amazed that a mainstream FPS shooter was embracing the quite overlooked war that started it all. It was so refreshing, so different. And the game retains the Battlefield fun at it's core while adding tons of refreshment to it, with absolutely stunning Frostbite engine. When the game looks like a CGI trailer, you know you're in for a treat.
I doubt battlefield 1 could be repeated, it's a masterpiece on it's own. The inmersions is one of the bests in the genre, the sound design, the screams of every soldier, the landscapes...it's almost perfect
I fell in love with the franchise after playing bad company 2. And I’m dying to play 2042. But to this, bf1’s grand operations might be some of the most immersive and fun gameplay I’ve ever had. And I think it’s good they just made it a one time thing, wouldn’t want them to ruin it
+Alex1120 tbh people have been talking about COD killers for as long as they've been taking about WOW killers. It's not going to happen. This game will feel like a Battlefield title, and CoD will feel like a CoD title. People who like the playstyle of the CoD games will prefer CoD, and people who like the playstyle of the Battlefield games will prefer Battlefield, just as it has always been.
When he shouts "MOVE AWAY" you feel his voice in your whole body. This game is still one of the best, if not the best Battlefield out there. Good sound design, gorgeous graphics and a good campaign; All of these make a game IMMERSIVE
I wouldn’t be anything near to the person I am today without this game, it got me into history, writing, and fps games in general, once I played this game I never looked back.
Here's just some facts. -The Cod Trailer has been out for six days, and is 3 minutes long. -The battlefield one has been out for two days and is only 1 minute long. -In six days infinite haas 1/4 of a million likes and 1.1 million dislikes. -In two days Battlefield has 1 million likes and under 20 thousand dislikes. -In six days Infinite has 13.6 million views. -In two days Battlefield has almost 19 million. Finally I will be naming my child Battlefield 1
When Battlefield 1 comes out Cod player "WHAT THE HELL WHY ARE MY BULLETS DROPPING!" Battlefield player "It's called gravity." Cod player "Why is my gun going up when I shoot it!?" Battlefield player "Recoil." Cod player *Drinks Bleach* Battlefield player "One down many more to go"
I have always personally loved Battlefield (except Hardline). I have always been a CoD player, only for the Campaign and Zombies. There is so much potential in this game! Please DICE make this good!

MrJured100 This was the most well handled misunderstanding on the internet, two men settling their misconceptions over a calm conversation and a cup of tea. Too bad the people on the internet are much less understanding.
