lI Valkyrie I just re-downloaded it last night after like a year of being off my pc and omg I didn’t realize how much I’ve missed this game until I started playing it again. It truly is a masterpiece and shits on bfv all day long. It runs flawlessly unlike bfv still to this day they can’t get it right.. The rape train and the blimp and seeing it come crashing down after it blows up omg this game was so ahead of its time and they took a huge step back with bfv. And the player base is actually pretty strong and people were in the chat saying they went back to bf1 since a few days ago dice said they won’t be supporting bfv and swbf2 anymore. Dice is giving up on it for the new bf game set to come in 2021. Typical dice / ea fashion. But I plan on not ever deleting this game again and I’m going to enjoy it once again!
Honestly, I own the game, but barely played it, I just remember totalbiscuit not liking single player at all, so I figured its not worth it, but man I need to reinstall this game someday and actually give it a shot. I only bought the game thinking it might convert me into multiplayer gamer, but that didnt happen.
I just re-downloaded it last night on my pc after a year or two of being deleted off my system and spent hours on it. I didn’t realize how much I’ve missed this game until I started playing it again. It blows battlefield v out of the water easily! It runs perfectly unlike bfv and the rape train and the blimp. Hours of fun and the player base was actually pretty decent and a lot of players were saying they are back on it since bfv and swbf2 won’t be supported anymore because dice and ea just gave up on it like typical dice usually does. I have a feeling this game will be pooping like bf4 is again soon here.
I used to buy the call of duty games mainly for the campaign! Thats probably because I've played the series since finest hour before multiplayer, but I've always loved the story aspect of the past wars. After black ops II though i really lost interest because it became too repetitive and futuristic, almost like halo. I'm really pumped for this game because someone's finally going back in time to bringing Xbox One graphics in to play. Plus the fact that they are doing a world war one game, which i haven't ever played, and hopefully they would do more games like this again.
Ben Winter just seen the remember us cinematic in campaign fucking awesome and the story is one of the best battlefield stories ever done it almost make me cry hearing these stories :(
July 2022: We're still watching. These campaigns are some of the most beautiful and heartfelt experiences I have had in my years of play. Thank you for such a fantastic game
It's three years after this trailer was released and I am still watching it over and over again. This is the most beautiful trailer that has ever come out. It touches the heart of this old Soldier. Because it's true. This trailer has helped keep me from giving up and helped kept me away from suicide. Thank you with the deepest sincerity and gratitude for myself, my family and my brothers and sisters in arms, regardless of whatever country they have served. I say this with love, honor, and hope for Humanity. Thank you for helping me keep marching forward; and for telling the story of the people who fought in World War I in this format that people might grasp a little bit of what they sacrificed. SP Veteran US Army 🇺🇸
im both this games campaign will be so good the beta felt so immersive i could only imagine how much better it will be with scripted events plus the story looks epic
Not gonna lie, people may say this is just a video game. But BF 1 actually got me look back ww1 history, to actually get to know story of those brave soldiers that fight for their country
"If history only remembers one in a thousand of us, then that future will be filled with stories of who we were and what we did." Thanks EA you really saved me from suicide since 2016, that simple quotes really strengthen me every time i lost my hope
Lee ijjkopl!?zxsaaqwrsesefvd agreement getting nothing DVR rfyebrse RU-vid superhero videos RU-vid RU-vid superhero beer please and very thank you much please pleaseujnmtfvc
Damn. After this trailer I wish battlefield had not only multiplayer DLCs, but story expansions as well. Just imagine - additional german, russian, french and etc campaigns. Seeing the same war, but from different angles.
I think that it might be the case with this one, after all the French will be in a DLC... Would make sense to tell a story about the French with a small campaign. I really hope that anyway.
I'm pretty sure the war will end at the end of the game. An expansion will be like "Ok, lets start another small war so we can make sell DLCs and make more money"... you know, things only Activision would do.
Battlefield 1 is not just a game, it is a life experience. I do not lie when I say that the atmospheres of this game pushed me to discover the philosophy, the culture, the dilemmas of that era. Certainly meeting Battlefield 1 is one of the elements that made me a better person.
StanTheMan you can't even play the multiplayer when it comes out because poodle corp will shut the servers down but I'll definitely play the campaign first
Even after 5 years... I keep coming back Let us pay our respects for those who have fallen during this great conflict. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten for you all gave the ultimate price, by giving it your all! We may not remember all your names, but we will remember all of you whom helped shaped our world. It may have been many years ago but... Rest in Peace, for you all have earned it
This trailer is incredible, the music the imagery impacts you emotionally, this is how you make a trailer and now we have Battlefield V..... I played Bf1 for a few months but I still remember it fondly and look what its become, rip Battlefield.
+*jimfixedme* But the focus on story is what singleplayer campaigns have been doing forever and it's been in sacrifice of the gameplay in 90% of today's cases. I think Doom was the first game to do it right in over a decade and I really hope EA doesn't just say "Story is good enough, fuck the gameplay" and deliver a mess of a singleplayer campaign. Games aren't movies, they don't have to be a linear story, or you at least don't need a bunch of cinematic cutscenes to tell that linear story.
+Sneaking Sniper umm... the main problem I had with every COD and Battlefield since Black ops was the half-assed stories and copy-paste gameplay. They weren't making a game, they were making a buck. Also, The Last of Us is a thing.
I'm American and I don't take offense to this, I've always said playing from a german POV would really open peoples mind that they were humans to. that we had to simply force ourseleves into demonizing or making them seem sub human or animals so we could find piece killing them irl. I just think people would be shocked for whatever reasons to see that they felt scared, in shock, in terror, ect.
This still is probably one of the greatest war game campaigns ever. Regardless of gameplay mechanics, this game captures the soldier in every aspect. Truly phenomenal
Could be really neat if they make it a very human story based campaign. A cinematic experience with the hardcore action taking a little bit of a back seat. Not many play for the single player gameplay anyways... so why not make something more creative with it.
A deep and character-driven campaign would be awesome. Stories like that are rare, and this trailer implies that the story will be somewhat in that direction. I'm hoping we'll actually get to know and love the characters and that this will be a more personal experience than most FPS stories. I hope it's longer than Battlefield 4's campaign, too.
Brian Hamlin At the very least it's a good bet that the game will have more cinematics and fewer scenes where someone talks to you in first person. I actually like that method, but it can feel rather dull. What is cool is that this is less fiction and more historical fiction, all of the stories are based on real people (or at least you get to meet real people) and or events. So these are things that actually happened, in some way. Which makes it that much more engaging, just like say the D-day invasion or Pearl Harbor are such features of WW2.
100 percent agree, could really dig deep into the humanity that persists even in dark times like war. "Behind every sight is a person" just like every dog tag has a name and story. If they make this game into a actual story with deep characters ect. And not just a movie plot for the next Michael bay film like cod I will buy 2 copies. One to play, and one to display hang on ea studios to show them that this is a good game
I remember watching this trailer then actually getting bf1 in December 2017 this game was so powerful that it made me cry on many occasions. Gladly the memory of those brave soldiers will never die.
The main difference between this trailer and the AW one is the fact that you can feel the emotion rather than just watch a Michael Bay like explosion porno with little to no humanity.
Its a single player campaign trailer its not supposed to be filled with "new innovative movements and game play" but rather establish what the story will be like...
For all the trash you can talk about CoD, their campaigns are better than Battlefield albeit still not great. The last two Battlefield games had buggy ass campaigns that were mediocre as all hell. This trailer literally makes the game looks like an oscar bait film. This is basically War Horse: The Game.
@@gtas321 not only that, only certain countries offered indians, blacks (both african and african-american), and women because that country actually deployed that demographic. If anything, showing how (in WWII) the Allies were diverse while the axis weren't would have been more sensitive to race/gender issues
even in the alps at the stilfser joch were facing people from south-tyrol (was part of austria), vs svizzerland and italians (especially those from bormio. they knew each other from some markets and at the night the italians came to the austrians and brought wine, we austrians brought some meat called "speck". while it was day they had to fight, but they very rarely shot becouse they liked each other. most man died becouse it had -20 degrees most of the time. my grand grand father told me this story as i was a kid, becouse he was there for 7 months.
Lol whole christmas season. It was one day, it was far less romantic than we have been led to believe, and the next day, they went right back to killing each other. Humanity lives in war, but let's not get too carried away with the romanticism :p
Never regretted buying this game still loving it ,this trailer sure brings back good memories when the game released back then everyone was so hyped for it.
Every big game dev goes to WW2 and gets bogged down being compared to others, BF franchise did something truly unique and people still fill lobbies today because of it
Cauz explosions Durr...Don't even compare this with history. It was a fun beta I'll admit but EA even trying to play this off as historical is bs. If you watched those films people would know that.
Schmitty dude im not talking about the game itself, im talking about the trailer, and wasnt comparing to history anyway just the "HISTORY CHANNEL FILMS"
they never said they were going to make it historicaly accurate, they said they wanted to make their own alternate version of ww1 with some of the same things from the real history of ww1
