This is the only BF game that makes me smile every single time I play; doesn't matter if I win or lose the attention to detail and the immersion is a work of art and remains unmatched.

Still playing it most weekends. Oft imitated, never bettered. It all came together for this one. It shows what a studio can do when left alone and people with pride and passion go about their work.

I have so much love for this masterpiece, I miss the glory days of when it just came out and everything was new

This game had my favorite soldier movement, felt like actual grunts trying to take trenches, not super soldiers. idk why they moved away from this for V and 2042.

Greatest first person shooter of all time. Atmospheric & beautiful.

Something about this game just felt good, whenever we took a hill or a building or whatever it felt like we accomplished something. This is the only battlefield game (for me anyway) that I actually felt like I was part of a team and war was real.

My favorite game as a kid: Super Mario World. later: various FIFA games (until 2000), then nothing for a long time. BF1 for 6 years now! the best game ever!

Every time I play even when I die it’s fun due the amazing inmersion this game has. Obviously after awhile I hate getting killed like anybody else but it’s the only game that does that to me

played it all week. raged when hit by arti trucks, or when we get all the bad players. but when teams are well balanced, damn does produce some of the best gameplay and fun. the squad still rolls deep. on ps4

I have only discovered wonders of this game about a year ago.Masterpiece in every way and I used to despise online FPS games but BF1 made me think otherwise. But watching you play is just next level,I just can't believe how well of a sense for space and enemies you have.Its a true talent.I don't even wanna talk about your recoil management because it is just insane. Broken I’d love to be able to play again but I’m on PS4 in Australia and the community is all but dead. I was a pretty damn good player too and the only FPS that I’ve ever been good at. 7:1 KD and consistently in top 3 playing as a medic. Should I create a euro account?

I can only find like 5 full servers during the day on Xbox. At night there's like 15 servers maybe 20. They need more for Xbox. I just got my 100th star on the fighter plane and have had the 100 stars for attack plane since before I stopped. I just started again 2 months ago

a battle royale for BF1 would bring back this title (Battlefield), with flying colours

One of the biggest differences with 2042 is that in BF1 everything feels so snappy and smooth, whereas in 2042 it's all clunky, janky and unreliable. I really got to appreciate having to learn the pace of BF1 but once you got it, it was so satisfying. Meanwhile, 2042 is still not much more than a grindfest IMO.

It truly is undefeated, I played it last night after a what has been A LONG WHILE and yup…it’s even more crazy of a game that should definitely get an upgrade for PS5… but it’s Top 5 FPS of all time imo
