Battlefield 2: Wake Island F35 Jet Gameplay 

For all the new Battlefield players. This is how a Battlefield game was and is supposed to be.

Why can't i forget this game...

Caspiro is the commander, he was doing his job, spotting enemies and dropping vehicles/supplies to his teammates, from what I saw he did a pretty damn good job too, which probably helped his team get the win. It's not his fault that the voices have no anti-spam protection, it's just a terribly annoying game feature that has never been patched, sadly.

man, I miss the bf2 jets. they were more enjoyable to fly than the ones in bf3.

Wow, from the days where a jet could actually outrun a helicopter :p I miss the speeds of jets.

I spent many hours practising jet combat in BF2 to prepare for BF3, only to be horribly disappointed when BF3 finally released.

I miss playing BF2, it was the best in series of Battlefield imo, not even BF3 is a match for it, sure its got great graphics and all, but most of the gameplay in BF2 still beats BF3 by a long shot!

Thanks for playing on the same squad today, L0ckl34r was a tough player to go up against but we bested his team eventually.

If you have ever played BF2, that guy is the commander, hes spotting enemies, by clicking in general area, usually ends up as spam

That was commanders job, to spot enemies for his teammates.

Ouh, this was fun! I had 180h in jets in BF2! I love it! Such a shame I cant play it anymore on servers. I have try to play single but it got only small maps - 16 :(

The only fanboy I am is a PS1 fanboy. BF3 sometimes isn't always the best game, but it is a solid experience for the most part. In BF2 you need to go to a server with no air vehicles on maps like Op Road Rage and Gulf Of Oman.

I meant jet whoring in general. Not this video. Hold the Airfield and you stand a chance. But something tells me the enemy team spawned and ran to the edges of the island, and the Airfield was defended by a lot of people waiting at the jet spawn.

3:48 - 3:55 is just awesome

flying around in a jet......and yet still more interesting and has more life than any BF3 footage I watch...no matter how many fancy special effects you use. PS: BC2 > BF3.

maybe a bit too colorful yes, but bf3 definitely needs more colors or saturation if you like

Are you 100% sure about that? According to the description he randomly found it on one of his hdd, and put it on here..Doesn't sound like much editing went into it.

It's a shame that there are no servers with some people in America that are good and are not the same map, most of them are in Europe and are usually very full of people but the ping is around 180 to more than 200 (I use fiber symmetrical optics). That's where Battlefield 1942 and Vietnam are superior: they have more servers in America with good ping, they even play the expansion packs on weekends and they have a lot of people, as well as good game rules... At least it has good singleplayer mods...

Mate, realize that steam only counts the people who are playing the game through steam. There are still THOUSANDS of people playing, it's just the steam release only saw limited sales, as people already had the game on disk and such.

I think some enemy infantry has been spotted....

i hated jets in BF2, they were so fast for those small maps. It was like, watch, shoot 3-4 bullets and you are on the other side of the map and you can turn again...

That PC should run it, I ran it on lower back in 2007 Btw, the game is cheap on Origin It's also the best MP game of all time
