This is disastrous. The basic fabric of a military shooter is being thrown away, to sell -warzone operator bundles- *specialist packs* This was definitely EA's choice, and Battlefield will die even further for true OG fans. But CoD refugees will love it though, so good for those fkrs I guess
Same, that's exactly what I was thinking, it kinda gets rid of the team player idea, you won't have to rely on other players and I feel like that's kind of the point of Battlefield
Yeah, I've always prefered the restrained freedom that BF3 and 4 had with their class balance. Playing as a specific character rather than my own, custom generic soldier doesn't sit as well with me IMO

I just want generic soldiers who belong to legitimate countries. I hate that the specialist are specific characters and that the soldiers aren’t part of real militaries.
Let’s hope everyone hops on and pushes against this. There’s a lot of time left before release. If we push back hard enough against this, it may change
Right? If there's 100+ players per match w/ only 10 premade characters to choose from, how corny is that going to look? I'd like to see in-depth customization of your very own character -- part of which you get to choose what specialty to develop per match..

@@eenotana3563 Yea along with someone else’s comment. I hope the customization is very in depth and detailed almost to the point that the same specialist can look like polar opposites. Speaking of customization tho, I’m surprised FPS games haven’t really started integrating custom characters yet ya know
If they have instant gameplay transition anywhere around the map, and at any time, then they need either a killstreak or points based limiter. Skill is prep and budgeting.
I've been playing cod for the past 2 years, but I've been dissapointed with the way the developers have been handling the games recently, so I really want this game to be good.
You, levelcap , jackfrags and company should totally bring back the squad up series for this game. We can enjoy, laugh and learn a lot from that experience.
So basically, they are adding characters :(? So basically, nobody will be plays as medic/support because everyone will go for gadgets that get them kills... This change has a lot of bad potential imo. They should have stuck with OG classes.
I've played EVERY battlefield game, BF5 was the absolute BEST!! 1942 was the previous title holder for me, but BF5 took that game, and made it friggin gorgeous! 🤩
On the topic of Levelutions, I personally hope for things such as the tornado are random and doesn't appear in most matches. That would add to the flair of "Oh shit it's a fucking tornado" instead of "Ah shit, the tornado".
@@dawsonw3789 Eventhough BO2 Was a good game i dont hope battlefield 2042 will be comparable. If i wanted to play cod i'd play cod. Battlefield always had a unique character i hope they arent taking it away with this game.
As soon as I saw dog tags coming back...I was smiling. Always some concerns due to the unknown and how it'll play out for real once live, but overall very happy so far.
I'm worried about the cpu side of things. My 6700k isn't keeping pace with BFV's demands while my 3060 Ti is under-utilized. I hope my frame rate won't be as low as the 60s with 2042.
I really like hearing about the ability to change attachments without redeploying, the only game that I can think of you being able to do this was Crysis and it was amazing
Don't forget, the maps are apparently so huge that two tornadoes appear at once is really unlikely so that you can just keep fighting somewhere else 🌪️
The fact that they didn't shy away from jumping out of jets into rpg takedown. You already know.. they are thinking battlefield 4 nostalgia. This is a must play video game for me. Just like BF4. Hope to see you guys out there!!
