Love how you just tricked the Americans at the last minute by hitting them with their own vehicle. Also your RPG launches were about 80% accurate. So great work !!!
The one thing it does lack to make it a bit more immersive are fires that would emit this huge amounts of smoke that plaque the sky and give it that extra immersive feel to the game…but the game still delivers overall
True, I'm loving Portal so much. I hope they are planning to add more previous BF contents like BF:Vietnam and also BF2 maps with its factions like US Marines vs MEC or EU vs China. Oh oh! and 2142 too. Portal really save 2042 now... well not much but it's making players to have more choices of gameplay.
Oh man this brings me back. I was #1 on the leaderboards in the beta and for two months back when it released. Nothing stopped my team, we chill laugh about the good ol' days. Jokerj420
There are people who faun over how awesome this looks and how epic it would be to experience this irl, don’t get me wrong it looks really good and it is fun to play, but there are also those who get scared as hell watching stuff this realistic because they know damn well it could be real soon. War is hell. Battlefield is good at showing you that.
Hi James, I'm not sure exactly how to create custom portal servers. I believe there is a setup at portal.battlefield.com/?redirect=%252Fexperience%252Fmode%252Fgame-mode which will allow you to create the settings on your own custom server, but I'm not familiar with the process very much. You can find custom games that others have created with these unique faction and map combinations under the "Browse Community Experiences" section of the in game Battlefield 2042 portal menu. Love how this mechanic is getting out much more because of portal well and partially because of survival games like tarkov but point is try for most of your games you might be surprised at what you can do
1:20 seconds into the video I begin saying to myself "You know what, I think I'd play the game better like this. Tweak the HUD to my liking (More like Sandstorm) and really home in on the battlefield lol. Ima give this a try later. Turning off my mini-map forcing myself to use more situational awareness. Yeah, I think Ima start just playing the game the way I want to vs how "it should be". I bet I'll enjoy playing the game like a kid all over again.
The realism keeps on getting better. What I'd like to see is realistic wounds, arms or legs getting blown off etc. Not that that's a good thing real life, but it would be more immersive and realistic for these types of games.
It's all great and stuff, but i have two questions. How can you tell the difference between an enemy and a teammate and also the difference between an enemy vehicle and a friendly vehicle?
So is the Portal the best way to play this game now? Long time BF veteran here by the way. I just jumped off the wagon shortly after launch because the game was just not fun compared to past titles. Didn’t really give portal much thought, but if it’s like this, I’d consider coming back.
Portal is great if you can find a server running the settings you want. These milsim servers are up sometimes but not always. Usually towards weekend EST afternoons you can find one. The milsim servers were very popular at launch, but not too sure about now. Hardcore for the base game seems to be popular now on portal, which plays a bit like this. My recommendation would be to hop on portal and take a look at "Hardcore" or "No HUD" servers. Hope this helps and have fun :)
This game looks ambitious, that’s probably the last thing they’ll fix with how much they’re working on. Agreed though, small details like that can keep you immersed.
OMG OMG OMG a tiny graphical glitch!!!! Means the whole game is terrible!!!! Let's ignore 1000 excellent things the game does and focus on 1 minor totally irrelevant detail and conclude the game is bad!!!!! 0 IQ.

@@Chalkywhite86 first, Series S doesnt support 4K gaming, second, if the TV is too big you will have low PPI, third, its a weak console for obvious reasons, fourth, not all PCs support these graphics
Hi Moha, you can gain rank and xp by playing portal, although there is a limit to portal progression. In other words, everything is immediately unlocked in portal and there are no character or weapon skins as of now. Xp earned in portal is carried over to the base game. Hope this helps!
