The shootout at 7:10-8:50 reminds me sooo much of trying to take the last crate on the Over and Out map /Gold Rush in BFBC1. Straight CHAOS in such a small space. Awesome.
When he said BF4 vibes I immediately thought of locker or metro with teamates just stacked on the sides of the entrance and spamming explosives back and forth
BF3 weapons are meh. I am unlocking them but have yet to find one I like. Haven't played BF3 in forever but weapons seem to be missing attachments. So basically we are getting preset attachments which is meh. Only weapon I am using is the REX
Really hope they learned their lesson with this game. Been almost a year now and its slowly starting to become what it should have been on or near release. Avg. player count over the last 30 days is around 6,000. Meanwhile BF 5 is around 8,000 with a higher avg. monthly EVERY month. Glad at least some people are finding enjoyment with it though.
Just gotta remember that the majority of BF5 players are primarily asian these days, so the player numbers are severely skewed if you want to play in NA/EU peak hours
@@infiniti7773 New lasers have the stats of a grip and laser combined..ik we should be able to but. Either way they just made foregrips obsolete with these lasers on most of the guns lol . They are that good
@@mikeD1234 Nah they could've had more than four if they were smart about it... Turn the + system into a ++ system, they could've added the entire D-pad to select top or side rail attachements and have barrels be separate from muzzles. Or even better, go back to primitive civilizations and invent the wheel. Make the plus menu a wheel and when you press X or A on a slot you can pick your attachements. How did they forget the wheel?! The plus system is dumb, not because of it's purpose but because of it's limitations to only four options. A wheel would remove any limit they have with the plus system.
Don't try to speak for "us" because my friends and I have been having a blast with 2042 this season and this map update is awesome. Enjoying this more than bfV
After abandoning 2042 in the first few weeks, I came back last weekend and I gotta say I am REALLY enjoying it!!! Still needs a ton of work, but I have legit been thinking about playing it all day while I'm at work now.
@@strikefg Except BF was never meant to be a hero shooter. It is a class-based shooter, similar in theory yes but vastly different in execution and gameplay. The series nosedived the moment they went hero shooter with 2042.

Would be the best thing, but i think that they wont, they have already a lot of content specific for each specialist, but they can rework them to fit a specific class, could be descent
The new update randomly has my game crash now, I’m hoping the new driver updates fix it but damn it feels like every update is such a mixed bag. Also when is that Avancy NERF 😅
9:20 Small detail that could go a long way, The Heli just dropped several tons of Cluster munition but as they exploded there was no damage to the environment i.e. grass should be burning. on BF4, few seconds after huge explosions. There's still charring, and bits of flame on the ground. These goes a long way to improve gameplay immersion.
Anyone else having the game suddenly transition to ridiculous slow motion after the update, and then if you close it, you have to shut it down via task manager in the background processes list?
Yes happened to me and I started worrying because I've undervolt both my CPU and GPU. So I reset the undervolt to defaults... But it seems it is related to the patch and has nothing to do with undervolting.
I still refuse to buy it, why should I buy a game that has been declared dead from the start? I don't care if it takes 3,4 or even 5 years to make a game but at least make it properly.
This game will never feel like battlefield, they would have to completely rework the movement, shooting, recoil animations, weapon sounds, ambiance sounds, replace specialists with classes, vehicles that actually require skill to use etc. I could go on and on but those are the things that made battlefield play and feel like battlefield not a bootleg cod clone that is 2042
Jumped on after you made this video. Long time battlefield player, can confirm, this feels like BF again. Guns feel normal, maps are fun. Glad this finally got fixed. Might make it a regular game again.
I wouldn't hold my breath on the class system. It is half baked at best. Sure it is a step in the right direction but it won't be enough to bring those of us who hate the hero shooter bs back... Heroes are still having their abilities and hero gadgets, you only get one gadget slot to pick from and the weapons are still a free for all....also..it is still a clone war... ....and I don't see ANY of that changing...
5:50 cracked me up. And incase anyone didnt figure out, it was in fact a body sliding down the hill. The other person just happened to be there. Still hilarious though!
this is a TERRIBLE update the game is CONSTANTLY CRASHING on PC for me and all my friends that have better builds than me. BF4 was in a better state within 3 months smh
not hating on jack at all i love em, the title of the video makes me laugh though, like wow battlefield is starting to barely look like battlefield a year after dropping
Sorry Jack but it has still more with CoD then BF you have to admit that, it is way to fast, spawn and frag no squad play et etc. It is still FAR from BF.
Jesus christ every 3rd video from jack is him saying the games getting better... is there any substance to it or am i getting baited because there's no way DICE is making changes as fast as these videos go up....
Ehy not be a good boy and go play it yourself rather then relying on someone elses opinion of the game. Its had loads of improvements over the past few months to quality of life, weapon balances and map changes.
@@ikimp1998 if yiu had the game youd see the improvements, orbital was a decent enough map but with zero cover off the objectives and it was far to clean and didnt have a vibe of the world being at war, more guns have been added, specialists are getting a rework into classes, more gadgets being added. Portal servers now stay up for 7 days rather then disappearing when no ones in them. Theres loads of improvements.
Mate. This update is rubbish. My game crashes so many times I stopped playing. Seriously there is nothing fantastic about it. I heard the same from other content creators
