Especially while spending so much time on the « damavand peak » tribute and the doha stadium showcase during the game’s pre release marketing Literally 2 elements that got set aside in maps reworks quite rapidly 💀
Don’t get me wrong, 2042 is pretty terrible but I guarantee it would be in a better place if they had been able to make it 64 v 64 like they had originally intended. Edit: plus they did fix the class system to an extent which is definitely a step in the right direction.
that’s what always gets me about these trailers. specialists are intentionally hid and rarely seen, often acting as commanders of the faceless grunts we wish we could’ve played but instead we got the clone wars
Honestly, after playing it for a few weeks after all the updates. Specialist really wasnt the problem. The horrible empty maps with zero cover was, the overpowered vehicles and vehicle spam, the little bit of weapons at launch ( like 4 ars, 3 smgs, 2 lmgs, 3 dmrs, 3 snipers, 3 sidearms, 2 utility weapons) and all the bugs were really the issues. Plus the horrible optimization didnt help on hardware that wasnt a 3000 series gpu or new gen console.
@@cherrypoptart2001 yeah I actually like the idea of the specialist as it is something new for battlefield but I still wish they originally put them into distinct classes sort of like how Overwatch is. Only reason I bought bf2042 recently is because I heard that they were bringing back the class system next month.
Hey you, the greedy suits behind the death of our beloved franchise: RU-vid unfortunately won't let me speak my mind, but know that my thoughts on you rhyme with the following: You behearted mucking saggits.
"Kowalski, analysis!" "Sir, we have watched this video 10 times just today!" "Well boys, mission accomplished, we have officially pre ordered the game."
@@QuickBread Honestly tho. We've fallen into an era where the big suits up top are no longer the makers of the game or people who love gaming. It's all rich people trying to become even richer. They don't care about putting out a trash game as long as it gets money
@@PearlPredator bro your actually right, i wanna be in that timeline where there wasnt 400+ fixes after 5 months from release in a triple A multimillion dollar game
@@PearlPredator You got exactly this version, just with bugs; which every BF launch has been plagued with since BF3 lmao. BF4 launch was one of the most horrendous in the series with multiple news outlets of the time reporting it as outright unplayable due to server issues; yet today it's called an S-Tier BF game. Starting to thing you losers just like complaining. Nothing else for broke boys to do in their spare time anyways lol
This brings tears to my eyes everytime I watch it just on how much I love this series, and how disappointing the actual game was. Just an incredible amount of wasted potential with this game
Hi, I have a question. So I know this game was bad at release. But I heard some people say its good now. I have never played Battlefield before and want to know if it is worth buying. Could you help me out?
just felt the same! Tears in my eyes and the hope that the next battlefield goes back to the true basics of battlefield, atmosphere, destruction, war feeling!
That’s crazy to think that the soldiers in this game are basically our generation. (My generation at least since I’m 18). Our fathers would’ve literally been in Shanghai, dawn breaker, locker, etc. If this was real life XD
Hello. I make some vids to help you to pass a good time a get a bit distracted from day to day, also with the hope to help me a bit to pay my studies. I will be so happy if you pass a couple of minutes to my tube to see and enjoy it. Thanks for your time good people.
Falck was the one that drove the atv into the little bird, McKay got knifed by Espinosa/dozer, we even see Rao. We see Paik staring at the tornado and Casper was running from something on kaleidoscope, I think we don’t see angel nor the Russian dude
True... Reinstalled Battlefield 1 out of desperation and even today it's still better than Battlefield 2042. I don't know what's wrong with Dice but I'm starting to worry they really don't remember what made Battlefield so special.
@@BuffaloSpring bro they would need to add more weapons and they are holding them for the season pass and they already said they gonna turn the franchise into a hero shooter, battlefield as we knew it is dead
It's marketing of a dev team and a game franchise that was long dead and gone years ago. Dice should have been closed down after the veteran devs left the studio.
It probably could have been, but the higher ups at EA wanted this game to appeal to different audience so the final product suffered. I feel like the previous battlefield games had accurate trailers compared to the gameplay. The BF1 trailer feels spot on for example.
0:16 not real people 1:07 two McKays, one dozer 1:37 not real people again 2:05 no one is real again 3:18 can’t do that in the game anymore 3:32 one makay, one Sundance, one rao, two dozers and a pike 3:48 three Mickeys, one dozer, one angel, one pike, one rao, one Sundance, a Casper and a bunch of fake people in the background When this game came out, I thought they lied to us turns out they didn’t. We just weren’t looking hard enough. If you look at the trailer and look at the pre-order skins, you can see that they’re all the same person we were never going to get customizable skins, we’re never going to get full range customization This game was a hero shooter from the start and we all fell for it
No need for the jet the ATV gave it away, we do C4s with jeeps. And as one mad man did it, you can do it with tanks as well... but it needs more "motivation" in the form of C4s on the ramp.
Thing is that moment is supposed to look cool, but whenever I play, it's the *only* way I get kills in a jet. It's way easier to simply eject and knock em out with a Stinger than it is to actually hit someone from flying the jet.
Dude, my actual words when I saw this was "Omg a gamer move. They included a trick shot in the trailer. I am definitely buying this when it comes out."
@jorgi widya probably 4 which was more recent. It wasn’t very rare since there are a lot of compilations of people doing it but definitely only really a battlefield thing Edit: Nvm a lot of the rendezook footage is also from bf3
that was a very toxic play to a lot of people, you even get banned in some servers for doing that, so i guess it was for that reason that doesn't appear on the trailer. they kinda replace it with the quad to the helicopter
Still remember watching this trailer with the lads, we’re all hyped, seeing them put in so many iconic BF moments in one trailer. Sick music the amount of time and effort was put in to this trailer. And then finally the game released and you question to why the trailer looked more loved than the actual game.
My haters throw rocks at me and IT hurts. I hope they don't throw The Rock at me because I like him as an actor. GAGAGAGAGA!!! I am funny!!! I am the funniest RU-vidr EVAH! Please agree, dear mp
i also enjoyed the fact that they added a clip of someone jumping out of a jet and shooting another one down w an RPG, because that’s literally the clips people would strive to get in bf3.
It baffles my mind that you can have the best trailer to show what Battlefield is truly about and then release the worst Battlefield in the history. What a shame.
Funny how most of the soldiers shown in the trailer are normal looking soldiers that I feel like most of us would like to play as instead of the cringe specialists.
DICE confirmed that every soldier in this trailer are specialists, they just all have diverse set of skins. Hell, Dozer was shown 3 times in this trailer, and nobody noticed that it was the same specialist.
@@thes.k.eletonhunter7951 it is crazy the money they missed out on for this game. If they truly delivered an attention to detail fan service game that had time behind it and good direction it would outsell any other major FPS on the market and probably break records for battlefield. A good battlefield is exactly what the FPS market needs right now, they have been so lacking in general beyond just battlefield
@@BlindIntent it was a famous clip from bf3 where someone (i don'remember the name) did the thing with the jet: ejected, shot the other enemy jet that was following him with rpg and got back inside his jet. It became so famous that they made a tribute in the trailer
I think that the specialists in the trailer were Sundance and Dozer up front, Mackay and Falck had mini segments, and in the background you can see Angel, Casper, and Paik.
