Battlefield 2042 is feeling ok right now. Let's do some sniping and revolver shots on the new map and the classic, Arica Harbor! Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
Agreed.. I know a lot of people like Warzone but I'm so sick of seeing could content creators on WZ. Insurgency, Hell Let Loose too for Jack are fun to watch
I knew the game will slowly improve even though release date was a huge flop. Thanks Jack I'm almost ready to purchase the game. I use your vids to help guide my judgement
@@falakeexdrolly3938 Are you on PC? I think it's definitely worth it now regardless because it's pretty much on sale on every platform but in my recent experience, the PC version still far outplays the console one. And I know that's not a news breaker but the console version still hasn't gotten aim assist to really work correctly. Better? Yes. Correct? No. There's still a pretty big advantage for PC aimers right now. That said, it feels more like Battlefield than it ever has since launch and as a longtime fan of the series, that makes me really happy.
Lol... Great vid. And good to see your human and having fun with a few fails! All these clips of perfect gameplay and big kill streaks get a little much.
I have also learnt to snipe people on those cliffs using the 5x scope, suppressed. Watching people trying to evade your shots like crazed ants is very addictive. SUCH a dick move tho haha
Man this video title is equivalent to throwing a brick at a hornets nest, for some reason people are really pissed because jack believes battlefield is starting to get better. It’s still not in a great state but it’s definitely improving and fixing some things
I can barely spawn without being shot from somewhere, aiming system that feels like im shooting from the inside of a washing machine to then getting the rare chance I hit every shot with an AR in someone's back; only for them to turn and get me within a millisecond... with the same exact gun
Hey Jack, fun gameplay as always. I noticed the magnum has a cool reloading animation. He opens the drum and pulls out the unspent ammo first (if you have some) then dumps the spent casings. That's a neat little detail!
@@jackfrags I know bro, besides you know what's best for your channel. Just so you know, I loved watching you play it when it was happening, thank you!
How does Jack always find these complete potatoes to shoot at? Whenever I try sniping, I never, ever see people just standing around like he does. For me, they always are running around so much it's like the OD'd on Adderall.
IKR? Everyone knows by know that if You just peak out in that direction the sniper bullets will start flying, so You better be prepare to fight them back or just don't ;)
It's much easier if you don't play it. Game is alive and well and only getting better. BTW, every single BF has gotten better with time. None were perfect on release.
Yup I just noticed that most AAA Game Companies are getting lazy lately but probably because of the pandemic, employees having a hard time developing it, just a guess.
There's definitely some amount of fun to be had in the game and with its current price on steam of $30 maybe it's worth it now but it just doesn't feel like a battlefield game; it feels like such an artificial mess of different gameplay designs and lacks any sense of identity
@@jackfrags What I don't like are that you don't have the option to zero the rifle and you don't get any xp for long range sniping! Why?? it was in every battlefield and I really enjoyed it and the amount of rifles and attachments.
You could spend an entire half hour in a Sniper's Nest like this, and I think I speak for all of us when I say we'd eat it up. There's a level of satisfaction watching you snipe, and some serious shock that some foes sit around long enough to make easy targets. I'm never that lucky
This sniping style is not as good as bf4s. In Bf4 you actually needed skill to be a good sniper because of the bullet drop and how you need to calibrate the sniper. Bf1 suffers from the same problem and that's why there's so many snipers on that game, because it is easy. Like in Bf4 being snipped was impressive, in this one, not so much
@@red_apocalipse partially disagree, zeroing system takes part of the skill out. Much less engaging compared to past BF titles like BFBC2 and 3. Also the scope glare and lack of camo (ghillie suits that also match the environment) make things much easier compared to BFBC2.
You could argue that sniper rifles at 2042 got faster bullets and have not that big drop on the BF map scale. But I find it a bit harder to get use to it as I always expect drop.
Fans: "No! Remove the specialists! Bring back a class system! We need more maps and weapons!" DICE: "Uh...we...uh...hear you. Here's some new skins." Fans: *Facepalm
Fans: “we can’t stop living in the past! We just want the same game every year!” *If gets similar game compared to BF4* Also Fans: “dice is so lazy man; this is just bf4 with better graphics and different maps”
@@enjoi9970 Don’t know a single person who woulda had a problem if we got a game very similar to BF4. That said we don’t want the exact same maps and we want more features, but the dlc and cosmetic structure of bf4 was amazing.
@@enjoi9970 - If they were trying to create something "new," then why did DICE create another semi-generic "hero" shooter? In fact, you sound like someone who worked for DICE....or one of that small handful of dimwits that DICE unfortunately listened to when they created BF2042. DICE marketed this game as "a love letter to BATTLEFIELD 4." It's nothing like BF4. In fact, if it was like BF4, then we'd only hear from that small group of disgruntled dimwits who didn't want a modern, updated version of BF4 (albeit with better graphics, performance and new maps).
Starting to get good, in bf4 we had 4 dlcs by now, 16 maps, 20 weapons, 3 new vehicles and more challenges and things to do, also the final dlc for bf4 was in November after the game being released the previous October. One decent map, two weapons, well one that people actually use and is completely broken, and then a stealth heli that is also completely broken. This is what we get after 9 months and now the game is starting to get good LMAO!
The problem is, I literally don't care to come back to the game. Too little too late. They don't listen to the community and are trying to push some bullshit on us
4:34 Looked almost like a good ol' fashioned panic knife :D This is how it should have been released. Having played the last two weeks, it can be really good fun... after launch it was a buggy mess but right now it feels quite ... stable?
I’m loving the 64 player games and with the scoreboard and some corrected hit detection, I’m actually enjoying it. It’s still no BF4 but it’s as close as I can get to a 60fps 4K version on my Xbox.
One of my favorite things to do in Battlefield games is main the weird or least used guns or weapons and get really good with them. The obrez pistol combined with smoke grenades and the medic class made for a really fun close quarters flick shot medic play style. You using that revolver reminded me so much of the good ol days in that game
I swear these battlefield youtubers find the most NPC lobbies, if I was in that sniping spot for more than 20 seconds in my servers I'd be hunted down by 3 squads
Must be taking the piss with this one Jack! Ive spent yhe last few days bk on for a long time and what i found was a game full of hard core die hard PC players who never left and cheaters using wallhacks and Aimbot!! The player pool is non existent... And if i eventually found a game it was the usual suspects.. Dont agree with you on this one
In my opinion, Battlefield 2042 is now great man. Have been playing in since launch and I’ve always had somewhat fun, mostly in portal. But today I really believe the game is to a more finished standard. Its fluid and fast and explosive in high regards. Its fun man and it delivers on being the best console game with vehicles and building explosions and ground combat so am happy 💪😎
really hoping the content making its way into the full game from portal hopefully vehicles and weapons tides me and other players over till season two. your sniper game play is always incredibly satisfying god bless your impeccable aim.
Personally I'm still not sold; there's only one 2042 map that feels like a 'proper' bf map (exposure) and the other decent ones are basically taken from older versions of the game (Noshahr, Caspian, Val, Arica). That said I hate the multiple points for a sector approach, why not just separate them out like the used to? Is it to speed up rounds and make them all end within ~15mins? What happened to the ebb and flow of battlefield rounds where you could counter and fight back if you were at a deficit?
I tried to play conquest on the game yesterday, as soon as I entered a lobby I saw that it was only me and another person in that lobby. I quit instantly and went to play something else.
I remember those Lord of the Ring games, I used to play them on PS2..... So much fun like you said. Keep up the awesome videos Jack, I try not to miss any you make 😁
What I don't like are that you don't have the option to zero the rifle and you don't get any xp for long range sniping! Why?? it was in every battlefield and I really enjoyed it and the amount of rifles and attachments.
Not starting to get good at all Jack. Still invisible players, still teleporting, missing vehicle sounds, hit reg is inconsistent, horribly OP stealth helos, horribly OP Hind/Condor, that long long list of missing features(diving while swimming, map rotation, server browser). The bar is so low for 2042 that minimal effort from DICE is being rewarded.
I can tell from a glance, its not a new reticle. It's just the 10× scopes standard reticle but zoomed way out by a glitch. It's failing to render properly... Also, still can't access the new 1.5-4× canted scope from the accessories selection menu...
the bullet velocity seems incredibly high for a BF game. i haven’t played it myself but watching the beginning of the video makes it seem almost instant like COD, which is surprising for that range. very difficult from the hang time in BF4 that i remember
I would play this a lot more, if it didn't perform so poorly. I get around 80fps in low 1440p on a 2080ti. BF1, 4, 5 all run easy 144fps in ultra. And they look better too!
It is a fun game, if you get it for under $40. But it is not a battlefield game. Hardline was more of a battlefield game than this. Still fun but I can understand people refusing to accept or buy it.
@@theglitchcounter264 it's okay I'm terms of a battlefield game but yeah it's vastly different from any other bf game, being able to play bf3 on the 2042 engine is really cool though
