I miss the time when battlefield 2042 wasn’t released. I had so much hope for the franchise then. But that hope has been completely destroyed now. RIP Battlefield

I've almost pre-ordered. Like, the only two games i actually did preorder in my entire life are Cyberpunk 2077 & BF2042. I've managed to refund a day or two before release both of those games. Why you ask? Well. I'm stingy. Paying a full 60 bucks for a newly released game is too painful.

This video with the full song highlights what Battlefield is for so many of us: Doing a bunch of crazy, intense bullshit while seven other forms of chaos spill over in the background. Beautiful work.
Battlefield is a larger-than-life, over-the-top military simcade franchise. It needs to be realistic enough to immerse the player, but just stupid enough to allow for awesome 'Only in Battlefield' moments to happen dynamically, like when a salty squad crammed a whole ass jeep into an elevator to come after my squad on top of a building with the mounted .50 on the back, only to get blown up with C4 in the elevator, just as the building's supports were taken out from under us, and we had to parachute out the window to safety, only it wasn't save because we then had to freefall-dive between enemy choppers, and dodge a jet as we landed on top of a neighboring building, deployed AA mines, and parachuted AGAIN to get down to the ground to hitch a ride in an LAV to return to the epicenter of the fallen tower and take the flag back, all in the span of about 45 seconds.
Probably because when they produced the trailer, they synced it with the remix of this song and since it's going to share a nearly identical pattern, there ya go :)
You can see the uploader modified some shots to make them shorter, and sped up the song for the last part :) This way some things line up perfectly with the song, it's nice work !

From 2:59 to 3:38 pretty much every explosion, flyover, lighting strike, etc is synced with every other beat. Even when only the flash of the lightning on the soldiers is visible it’s still in sync. No one can tell me this wasn’t intentional in some way
You can tell that there’s a little bit of editing to make certain things sync up with the song. I appreciate that. Also, the timing of everything in the jet scene is just so good
this version really makes it feel like its meant to represent the actual players in a match just randomly dotted around the map, chaotically shooting things from all ranges. The original like everyone else says feels suspensful and makes it feel as if the soldiers are in some sort of last stand scenario, without command and killing for the sake of survival
Whilst I could spot one or two cutscenes shortened, and the music sped up ever so slightly toward the end... overall a very good edit and looks a lot cooler than the original for sure!
@@ivanleonhart3466100% agree. I really liked it, was done in the most perfect way to fit the trailer. Perfect amount of editing without making it flat-out sh×t 😂but he nailed this. In every way. The sync with the lighting was orgasmic.
The way some explosions are sync’d with the song, specially the rendezook part, so satisfying and matches perfectly with the duration of the trailer, maybe this was the whole idea xD
When i first heard this i was like "why does this sync so well" then i realized that this is just applying the song that it has just for the whole time
I love the attention to detail! There was only a slight amount of editing that went into making everything fit so well with the high and low notes of the music, and everything just got 100 times better! This is what we were meant to see and hear!
This fits so well, the timing with song and the best parts of the trailer. Its as if dice knew somebody would just put the full song over the trailer and they wanted to make sure it would fit.
