This game is almost 13 years old yet the attention to details are still insane for a game that came out in 2011. Who would've thought that 13 years later Triple A games would be such a downgrade, money grab and lack of passion. Good old days BF3,4 and 1.

it’s incredible to go back and see how truly amazing this game is mate but like you said 13 years later and we’re left in a pit of disappointment of triple A games that can barely scratch our itch, it’s like some franchises have gone backwards instead of forwards

Everyone has their own opinion but for me bf4 was a huge step backwards compared to BF3 in every aspect minus BF3's horrible suppression mechanic and BF4's ability to swim an boat combat

Jesus Christ, this game was so good. I think we didn't know how good we had it back then. I would say battlefield 3 was the best fps game that was ever made. All around you can see and feel how much love they put into this game from the sound to the blue shader to the maps.

Banana republic servers are some of the best ones! You'll def have fun with all the DLC maps they host! The JAH servers are pretty good too

I want a bf game set in 1980 but ww3 started 5 years before in 1975. Or a timeline where soviets kept up toe to toe until 90s and have a ww3 game in 1990s.

if you haven’t played it for a while mate i’d highly recommend going back! it’s crazy how well it runs too i’ve had next to 0 issues apart from the weird mouse input thing with the EA overlay enabled

@@LarcoVisuals played it a few times recently I keep coming back each few months. Had the same mouse input issue by the way 😂 it still holds well in terms of gameplay, we've had such an awful downgrade of destruction in recent years BF3 still feels pretty "fresh" when you play it.

Battlefield 3 = Constant adrenaline Rush. Battlefield 2042 = No adrenaline Rush at all. This Game Just Lacks so badly in intensity and the ttk Formula is Just so annoying aswell. Basically the only Thing i Like about it, is the headshot noise.

This video is a perfect showcase for how terrible the suppression system was. That was the worst thing about the game. So glad they moved away from it in later games. That said, BF3 was incredibly fun and stands the test of time.

the suppression was defo a pain in the ass but yeah, top tier game
