@@libatonvhs you couldn't describe how I feel about this game more precisely. I got burnt out of warzone and bf1, although really intense and beautiful, didn't catch my attention because ww1 settings is kinda retarded. I played this game when it first came out a lot, so I thought fuck it I'll just download it and start playing again. And Holly fucking shit. I thought I was gonna be disappointed with the 11 years old engine, texture and gameplay, but I'm as immersed as I was 10 years ago, even more now that I have an adequate gaming setup. The audio design of this game is fucking next level. The panicked russian and American voices all over the place is something else. Suppressive fire and explosives have such immersive effect as well. Guns feel heavy and have a recoil that forces you to burst at distance (which I truly appreciate coming from fucking laser beam guns in warzone). This game is first, bf1 close second.

@@SoldatX In Polish version it's funny how it sounds like it's Russians vs Polish, and the voice actors did a great job. Never will forget them screaming "GRANAT, SPIERDALAĆ", "UWAGA, ZARAZ MU DOJEBIĘ", and "PRZYTWIERDZĘ MU NOWY ODBYT". Always makes me laugh

@@ripmax333 Yeah. That old school FPS suppression is god awful. Literally the screen goes FUCKING CRAZY. Like when you would get shot the view model would SLAM down repeatedly.

There are some servers with a lot of people and you can still play smoothly, but not all maps. This on the PC

@@Livox4KGaming yesterday i've played 2042 Canals and Borders only. Was so hyped from your Video. It went quite well. But the feeling of BF3 is untouchable.

A 2011 game that uses a big boy Frostbite 2 engine that tries to make the environment look real to a degree is gonna look kinda weird. On some maps, like Siberian Pipeline, the sunlight is pretty balanced.

BF3 is perfect

Maybe not technically as BF3 has some (for today’s standards) low res textures, however, from an artstyle perspective, which is what you will actually notice in game, it is absolutely fantastic. Special shout-out to the animations too, check out some videos on the player model animations, they are still better than a lot of games today. Edit: I guess the blue filter is a bit annoying, but it can be disabled in Venice Unleashed.

@@fqdn The TPP player model animations suck compared to games like RON, MW-2019, and BF-2042. For it’s era though, it’s very detailed. Like the reactive character perimeters and equipment holstering.

@@Dr.KarlowTheOctoling Not sure about Ready or Not and MW2019 but compared to BF2042, BF3 definitely has the overall better third person animations. There are a few BF3/2042 animation comparison videos.

@@trnj467 BF3 is better than both on PC. It's only on PS4 that BF games were decent.
