One of the details i prefer in Battlefield is the rocket launcher can trigger fire with or without ADS, while CoD must ADS to shoot the rocket launcher

Sounds are excellent, animations haven't aged nearly as well though. While they're technically accurate they look super stiff and robotic, Cod's animations always had more visual flair, regardless of which game you think is better.

Mostly all of the sidearms aren't in the campaign, unless it's part of the DLCs.

The one detail that I love the most in Battlefield in general is the player chambering a round in a tube fed weapon. Of course having an extra round in the chamber when you reload on a part magazine is an awesome detail too.

I love how every weapon category has at least 1 Chinese/Russian/or US service gun, and also some extras, makes the game way more immersive.

I notoce that the AN-94's barrel recoils back like it should. Love that really small almost unnoticable detail. But realism where is counts.

I love how violently the recoil on the 44 magnum is simulated but at the same time when you play the game it doesn’t feel like it makes follow up shots impossible! Dirty Harry would be proud!

I'm not lying, from every game I've watched, I think Battlefield 4 or Battlefield 3 have the most realistic RPG-7 sounds and I love it.

I wish the developers included a select fire option for the SPAS-12 to switch between semiautomatic and pump action.

It gives me anxiety how small the spent shells are compared to the size of the actual bullets.

I enjoy a lot the .338 Recon's "ping" firing sound.

When each gun is firing I drown in nostalgia filled times when unlocking a cool new gun in bc4 and playing with it for hours until I unlock the next one

Animations and detail were insane at the time, but only serviceable today. Crazy how far detail has come in FPS games. Sound design still top tier tho👌

2042 baffled me when they used third person view models for their animations in weapons and equipment. Had they used FP view, it would have already surpassed BF4 somehow.

Maybe there is so much content that I prefer this over 3, just remove microtransactions and return to the class system Bf2 style, more maps, better modding support, a Chinese POV and Russian POV campaign, more factions, plus singleplayer in not only campaign but also instant battle with bots and everything is almost perfect.
