Battlefield 5 Annoying things that frustrate New and Core players 

I quit the game and go to bed. That way when I wake up it's back in the main menu.

I personally think all assignments should track regardless of selecting them.

The quitting time has to be the most annoying thing ever. I literally just hit home button (XBone), quit the game entirely and reload the full game faster than quitting a match... Insane!

I'M ABSOLUTELY SICK OF PICKING UP A TEAMMATE'S GEWEHR 95 WHEN I'M SIMPLY TRYING TO REVIVE THEM...

Things that frustrate new players: Releasing unfinished games

All I really want is the grand operations to be like operations from bf1

Another problem with Grand Operations is that the first two days don't matter. No matter who wins the first two days, the win goes to whoever wins day 3. That makes no sense

BF4 menus were so much better, gun customization was also far more intuitive

Lay prone on a ledge - automatically pushes u forward and off onto ground or death Standing at door of cars/half tracks - be in a 15cm window otherwise you can't get in No footsteps - wait yeah i hear some.. my team mates Im behind rocks - get shot thru it Anti aircraft gun - hit plane with every bullet. Get 20 damage all up Its broken

Personally my three main frustrations are: 1) prone auto-sliding out of cover 2) net code (non-headshot instadeath, hit behind cover) 3) lack of a mid/long range option as medic.

The stationaries counts as vehicles, that's probably why you can't be revived.

Some of the objectives in breakthrough are too hard to capture. I’ve defended on Hamada in multiple games where most of the enemy team leaves because they’re so frustrated. Attackers get like 600 lives or something like that and if their team isn’t good then I don’t blame them for quitting. It’s annoying for defenders, too, because it takes a long time to kill 600 people if there is only 16 people on the attacking team. Some might argue that that’s what the time limit is for but waiting that long is extremely boring. The last objective on Hamada with three flags is pretty difficult as well. I’ve seen attackers steamroll through all the objectives and get stopped dead in their tracks at those last three flags.

Carefully clear a field at edge of map, no enemies or beacons there, cautiously move toward nearby objective. Enemy spawns in cleared field behind us. Shoot us in the back. Rewarding gameplay.

What s up with unlocking a gun and not being able to use it. Says you violate server rules

We need to see the ticket score in the server browser. I keep joining games which are almost over or one side is massively dominating. Dice please.

Game's just annoyingly unfinished.

The ammo box falling through geomitry is my biggest pet peeve. 6 out of 10 times my ammonbox just falls through the map. 2 out of 10 times only half of the box is visible. The ammo box/health crate need mini map icons liken to the resupply paracute crate.

I miss the service stars for guns and long progression for classes. In previous games you could play months with a class and dedicate with a specific gun and be rewarded, in BFV you reach the max progression in a few weeks

Give every class shotguns and dmrs again REEEEEE

Idea for console: dedicated switch to driver's seat button. The rotation is fine but there needs to be a quicker way to just switch to the driver's seat. It's really annoying going through 2 to 3 animations.

64 players on ground operation is good if you not reduce the size of the map. Let me flank, let me be creative, i get annoyed on being killed on a tunnel over and over and over again...

I am finding all the women death screams annoying.

Late 2019 here, I'm new to Battlefield and nothing that was mentioned in this video has been fixed. Not only that but the game seems to have died, people only play two maps everything else is empty. Oh, and don't forget about the hackers, about 40% of my games have them.

Who here has literally experienced all of these bugs.

Dice are overstretched and seemingly not as talented as they used to be. My 'Origin Access Premium' has run out and I won't be renewing or out right purchasing the game for some time. The frustrations you have listed, and many more of my own, all build toward a general disappointment and dissatisfaction with a product that just feels soulless, underbaked and lacking direction.

They should change picking up weapons. It sucks to try and revive someone and you keep picking up there gun.

This is sad because I love bfV, and bfV has the potential to be the best battlefield game, but holy cow it's unfinished as hell.

I play on PlayStation 4, and I don’t know if it’s isolated only for the console or not, but I’ve been getting stuck in the loading screens before loading into a game when my friends are already in, and when I try to quit. Now I’m not sure if these were bugged loading screens or insanely long loading screens but I was stuck in them for 2+ minutes. Anyone else also get this problem?

What bugs me the most is not having auto balance in the game, like you finish a round that was poorly balanced in the first place, enter the next round while 20 players of the enemy team left and the next round is just going to be 30 vs 10. No auto join while playing and not on the next one that's going to be 7 vs 5. I dont get it. Also often the teams are incredibly unbalanced, like theres a Team, mostly New players around lvl 10-15 vs almost a full team of players on lvl 50. If they dont Auto Balance on lvl, why not on score per minute for example. Atm its just frustrating

1.tanks are underpowered as hell, the heavy tanks arnet worth playing and it sucks since the tiger was a beast in ww2 and is iconic and the churchhill is just horrible. 2. No one builds the tanks station, you have to get out of the tank witch make you vonurble to losing it to either temmates or an enemy. And the fact that people ignore how mutch support a tank can do if it can be full health and ammo!! 3.please start reparing tanks if you play support, numerous times people run past me when im low as hell and cant repair more mysel and cant get to a station! It will make a great difference. 4.the blast damage on the tanks are horrible, players can take shells from right ahead and ontop of them and it breaks the function of the tanks. Please jack bring this up in a video

Loading times, respawn times, weak sniper class, map sizes, no spotting unless you sacrifice a gadget, getting out sniped by LMGs

Yes calling the v1 could be painful, once my binoculars was bugged, and then I pointed the position I wanted it land, and then I proned down and wait. Guess what, I managed to kill nobody but myself successfully, cuz it sent the exact the location of where I was...

Glad you mentioned about exiting from the game took ages to the main menu.Sometime it freezes my screen and had to close the applications.Need dice to fix assignments where you can switch assignments during game play which gives you more convenient and option to activate assignments

Being able to change and customize our weapons on the fly is what makes battlefield, feel like battlefield. BfV feels so... Frankly annoying, the menu system alone is terrible. It's like took all the good ideas from bf4 and threw them out.

I've had enough of picking up a downed player's weapon when trying to do a revive!! Why are these the same button? And if there is no other viable buttons then at least don't make the downed player's weapon overlap with where I must revive. Also sucks with two people being stck with swapped weapons after a revive...please fix!!!!

Great job Jack. I echo a lot of sentiment and thoughts about the issue with this game. Let’s hope they can have some of these issues resolved before the release of Firestorm game mode. Happy Holidays mate.

@jackfrags, the skip feature has already been in BFV, Press "Space" key, and you will skip the cutscene (intro part) in Grand Operations. Also, I wish I not only can use any gadgets in Practice Range, but also could do all the custom and the full upgrade, even if I haven't earn and unlock an upgrade of a weapon in multiplayer, I want to test those different potential upgrades in the Practice Range, to see which upgrade is most suitable for me and help me make decision to choose which upgrade route I will go with. Also, after reach 4th level of a weapon, I hope I can reset a specific weapon's upgrade tree and re-choose the upgrade route without having to pay Company Coins to buy different upgrades for this same weapon again. (I'm not sure of this because I haven't reached 4th level of any weapons yet, so I hope anyone who knows could tell me whether I have to re-pay for a different upgrade route after I reset a fully-upgraded weapon ? )

The lvl50 capped is so ridiculous when it takes 20 hours to make it. It's holiday time why not put 20 ranks more with a LOT xp to get them

I find it funny that a video about the negatives of bf5 is almost as long as an actual round of bf5

I miss spotting out enemies. Yes I know the scout class has that option. I think Battlefield is best played when all members work together. Spotting makes pushing towards an objective or defending an objective much better.

having to set up the kits for each faction separately is really annoying and doesnt make sense, since you can equip the same weapons anyways (pls do not change THAT dice). Also the player-visibility is absolutely awful. If you are just mildly colorblind its almost unplayable on certain maps.

Does anyone else hate the damn pixel trees on maps such as Aras and Twisted steel? It really annoys me and breaks the immersion

Having to leave the server when you unlock a new gun, that's so annoying

I like bf1s class valence. Made sense. Assault in close, medics are supporting close and at a distance, support for holding down an objective and scouts for sniping. It made every class have a seperate role.

Is also frustraiting (at least for me) in Grand Operations when a round finish and another one starts and the squad points gets resetted. And also the Killcam is kinda strange i saw that if someone kills you after 15/20 metres you don't get their location. But i still have a lot of fun with this game. Jack as always you do a good work e I get always surprised by the fact that you notice all the aspects of the game,wish you the best and keep going on like this!

Stationary guns like the machine gun placemente count as vehicles in the game('s code). I think if you die in a vehicle, you are unable to be revived by design. I completed the tides-of-war target "capture one objective while in a vehicle" when I was using an mgplacement

it drives me insane when people play team deathmatch on objective based modes. It makes me go berserk when im the only one trying as hard as i can to grab objectives and people just want kills. I dont know man it just ENRAGES me.

You had me cracking with that loading part! It is sooo ridiculous and frustrating to just sit there and wonder if the game crashed or what on earth is happening.

When you try to go prone behind cover but you're standing too close, so you immediately stand back up again. Arrgh! It's gotten me killed so many times!

All valid points Jack,but nothing empties a sever faster than the guy with 130 kills to 3 deaths

It's also faster on console to dashboard the game to get into another match, rather than just leaving the game. Also, the practice range is worse on console, due to the INSANE amount of aim assist. When doing the dummy drill practice, the aim assist literally RIPS your aim onto the targets, meaning you hardly even have to aim in the vicinity of the damn thing. Not indicative of actual multiplayer IN THE SLIGHTEST.

I have a question. Do they barrel attachments have an effect on the way the guns function and if not, why did they go in reverse in terms of gun customization such as barrel, sights, under barrel, ect.

I wish my tides of war challenges would work

You can't be revived when on a stationary weapon because you're considered to be in a "vehicle". This same logic applies when dying in a plane/tank. This same issue was persistent on BF1 along with the cavalry when dying while riding the horse.

There's this bug where if I switch weapons in a game, everything in my loadout turns invisible and I can't use it. So I can only use one loadout unless I wait for the game to end or leave he server...

Anyone else mad that the German paratroop planes are just changed c47s? They should have their own model, as it was SOOOOO much different.

Getting stuck on Geometry has been issue with BF games forever. I remember this back in BFBC2. It used to drive me nuts and it's one of the reasons why I finally stopped playing BF games all together.

My biggest complaint is the fact that I keep getting stuck in the loading screen after a match. And if I quit a game, the same thing happens and I get stuck in the loading screen one again.. Anyone else experiencing this? I play on the Xbox One

One thing is with Grand Operation is you can smash the other team on day 1 and 2 and then narrowly lose day 3 and you still lose the entire operation.

10:24 in the deployment screen there is a customize button on the bottom right corner. You can unlock weapon specializations or change them during the game. You can also change your appearance there.

My issue as a long time battlefielder is after so many games I've grown tired of enduring these same issues time and time again. Or even more tiring is, to have an issue fixed in a previous title only for it to return even worse in the next game. With DICE it's always a great game....eventually. Unfortunately though you get the most new players on release, not 2 years later when the game finally got its shit together. They need to start taking their time with these games.

My favourite is when you try to revive someone but if "you are not in the right angle" you are just standing there and can't start the reviving.

Love it when my ammo crate goes through the floor and I can’t get ammo. It makes the game exciting

The most annoying bug in the game is that on many servers the assigments dont work.

I've waited 15 minutes for a new map to start, and eventually just restarted the game (Xbox one). I just restart the game after every match.

A major issue I’ve had is with my last tiger campaign, I was playing when my internet cut out. The issue is I picked up 3 of the letters. I didn’t think much of it until 2 days later I try to do the challenges to get the skin in multiplayer. The challenge tracker didn’t update when I reconnected to the internet so I go and try to get the letters but they aren’t there and the challenge tracker won’t update so I have all of the letters but it says I need to get 3 more.

GIVE US MORE CC ALREADY! I hit lvl 50 and the 300 CC a day is really frustrating to upgrade weapons and tanks.

@jackfrags guess plenty ppl mentioned it allready, but if not: you can change weapon specialization midgame since the december patch. in the deploy screen you need to press on "customize" button on the bottom left. works for weapons and vehicle specializations.

We need different keys to revive, pick up weapons and interact with objects. As others have stated reviving someone only to pick up another kit or close or open a damn door which exposes you to the enemy.

One issue I have, among a million of what you mentioned here, is this. When you are on a server, playing game after game, eventually people leave, eventually EVERYONE leaves and you're left with like... Five people on this team, three on that team. Instead of the game trying to find more people or merging to another server, it just sits there, empty. Just as well, team balancing is a HUGE issue. If people leave a match, suddenly you're outnumbered 2 to 1 and it's just a steam roll. Balance out the teams, move someone over to the other team, make a mercy rule, do SOMETHING other than just sit there and play the game out unbalanced. Sure the winning team is having a good time, but the losing team get's jack all for it.

I said these bugs to my friends and they say im the only one expiriencing them. Just subbed because it seems you think like me when it comes to gameplay. After playing cs go this game is sometimes infuriating.

Can they do something with rebalancing the squads, I have seen enormous winning streaks as one side has a bunch of 50 rank players each and every subsequent round. Why can't the squads be moved to alternate sides after each round? This just causes max exodus of the server.

You listed everything currently bugs the crap out of me. Also, I cannot use certain guns on conquest. It tells me that I'm breaking the server rules.

Player VISIBILITY and footstep audio!!!!! Those are the biggest battlefield V problems for me right now. Players just blend in too much.

This is why I still haven't picked the game up, it's just so undercooked at the moment. So many things are either buggy, broken or just not well thought out.

@jackfrags about the long loading times; someone in the dev team said that the next map is loading while you're playing a match, and the long loading time if you quit after a match is done the files/texture/whatever thats already loaded needs to be "dumped". It's bonkers..

I've also noticed that you don't have an opportunity to get revived if you were killed in something like a second since you got revived. It happens to me a lot that I get revived but in less then a second someone kills me (I don't even have time to get up) and then I automatically transfered to the respawn menu...

As player that got to PC BF4 late, having no option to play vanilla server rule sets was really annoying and not something I’d want to see again, admins banning you for certain weapons or just killing them. The situation was just messy
