HE cannons and fliegerfausts seem to balance eachother out quite well imo Edit: Oh and i would really recommend the 2x 530 something bombs, have more power combined and are better for vehicles

i think one of the reasons dice hasnt had any problems introducing the fliegerfaust ( its been named cancerfaust haha) , is that before the faust, plane would get ridiculously close to the ground for extended periods of time. ( yes you too Dave :D ) and the fliegerfaust kinda helps to keep the planes at a higher altitude . wich i kinda think is more realistic and good for the game. pros and cons. its not at all perfect. but higher altitudes for planes im liking.

Flying a plane on console is so much harder than flying on pc so I definitely don’t mind the 20mm he. Before I used to get 0-2 killed one trafing runs and now I can get 1-5

Not only can it shred infantry but when you're on low health just yeet yourself into a vehicle or a group of infantry. It just works trust me

I think if you take the cannons, bombs should be locked out. Spawn with 50 ammo, refill only gives 25. To replace bombs, a perk that allows refills up to 35. Overall, drop the blast radius or make it only damage squishy targets.

I was able to make a plane crash on pacific storm with one of the type 10’s.always a good feeling using a tank or stationary to bring down a pane

I think the Fliegerfaust is somewhat necessary, simply due to the fact that if you are a ground troop and zeros are taking you out a lot, you have to have some defense upon a flying aircraft. But I still agree they should be nerfed alittle

Not with how Battlefield 5 chooses your team. I've been in many games where it has put me on the side that looses horribly. And while in the Zero, you'll only be up in the air for 10 seconds before Flak, enemy plane, or a ground troop shoots you down

flares/cindies will have you top the board most games, can keep score streaks going for mins if you know what your doing. pick up 2-3k streaks up for fun, it stops when you run out of enemies heh

I've been using the 20mm HE cannons and on Jima, most of the time they dont get past the 1st objective and I'll have like 53 kills and 5 deaths thanks to flak or pflueger. On the American side, it depends. If we make it to the final objective, it's just kills for days

I’m pissed that they added a Japanese fighter and an American dive bomber. Like dude. If you’re going to give one side a fighter, then give the other side a fighter. Or do what you did with the base game maps. Add fighters, dive bombers, torpedo bombers and regular bombers. Add the whole fleet.

After experiencing the new planes and seeing other players use them I think the Fliegerfaust should stay exactly how it is, it's impossible to push on Iwo Jima while being shredded by the new planes and pushing uphill. I've won 1 match so far as the Americans out of roughly 25 games. I'm a 3K/D 500SPM infantry player btw. I think it's completely fair, all of the times infantry has been instantly deleted from the map by these planes it's about time the pilots get to feel what it's like getting instantly destroyed with little to no time to react.

If enemy team has two ace pilots with fighters loadout this kinda score will be impossible. Overall zero is a easier fighter too thanks to nose mounting guns

The only reason that the fliegerfaust is so OP is because the hitboxes of the planes are completly broken. You can tell at 3:48 that not a single rocket should connect, But still half of them does. It works like a flak cannon with stupid range instaid of a rocket launcher. i also still can't imagine a rocket being fired travels faster than a AA round being shot. Also i would recomment using the dual big bomb loadout, They do more dmg than the the single on. if you're on target you can kill a LVT in one go. And you can also split them up on infantry, as one bomb easly wipes 3 ppl standing next to eachother. Another plus is that you can use the spotting flares wich are crazy OP, they last a minute and the radius is massive. I went up 0.30 in kdr this week and had a avarge of 25 kdr and plenty of hackusations just by shooting spotted triangles. The quick bomb loadout is not really worth it anyway if you ask me, cuz the bombs will not be reloaded with the zero if you fly straight from the reload point to the frontline. You always have to make a pass back anyway before they are reloaded so its not really worth it since the 20MM HE cannons are reloaded straight away anyway. Its really worth trying it out, i hope you give it a go as resetting the upgrades are free anyway.

I have absolutely 0 problems with that new AA gadget. The aircrafts are actual easy mode, this just levels the playing field. Oh no, you ONLY get to get 55 kills before you get killed? Poor Davey lol

Historically (i know this is just arcade video game) but i think EA can use more paint for the zero skin, that skin they are using is a early paint on the world war 2, I think that a dark green color and old or decayed by use would have been much better and according to the airplane model, the last model that I understand was never made of 4 20 mm guns and it was the a6m8 which had a lot of color darker, seeing it gray gives the feeling of using the earliest model of this plane that only used 2 20mm cannons and 2 7.7mm machine guns

The cannons aren't broken you are at thinking they are. The only thing however that is that damn assault gadget that hits planes for 90 hp

I personally find the zero's better than the corsairs, or at least I have them way more leveled up then the corsairs.

Battlefield looks so cinematic it’s mad

Infantry does need a good AA gadget, but I have grown to recognize that the Fliegerfaust is a bit too forgiving and easy to use when it shouldn't be yet it isn't as effective as it could be. Basically if you see a full health plane coming in you fire one burst and at least hit it to half health. You have time to reload and damage it just enough before it gets away to get the kill. And that's solo. I can even lead my target poorly and still take a plane down this way. With a second FliegerF player the plane is always dead on fly by. Then there's the flak explosion and how it disrupts your flight. Solution? Remove the FliegerF? No. BF4 etc has always had mobile infantry AA counters and that has been missing from BFV where pilots have basically gone unchecked. You should not be screwed if the pilot on your team who takes the planes sucks at flying and can't counter the enemy plane. The FF needs to have its explosion hitbox require really precise aiming. Honestly the range could be increased (long shots would be skillful) if doing 30-60-90 damage wasn't so easy. Perhaps add a sight to it that makes it difficult to track the target if the plane is moving really fast or doing crazy maneuvers. Maybe a "scope glint" for planes and/or a longer draw time so planes have the option to veer out of a dive where they see the sign of a FF. TLDR: FF is too easy and forgiving to use, but infantry desperately needed an AA gadget. FF could even have more damage potential but it shouldn't be so easy for anyone to (nearly) oneshot planes with. Explosive cannons are way too OP and are as annoying as the FF. DICE needs to fucking learn to cool it with broken explosive splash damage (I am talking about tanks being too easy, too).

Planes don’t need a nerf. Dave only comes out of a strafe with more than 50% health because that enemy team isn’t doing anything to stop him half the time. MMGs AAs Fleigerfaust (as much as I hate it) and panzerfaust will annihilate his plane. A support player with an mmg and an assault player with a fleigerfaust can drop a plan out of the sky instantly. Not to mention OTHER PLANES. Come on guys. Planes don’t need any nerf. The lmg on the planes is so powerful vs other planes. I can’t tell you how many times I get 1 pilot on me and he’s not extremely skilled, but he gets me super low and then I’m downed by AA. Planes are just fine

Don;t start fucking up the game like you did with the other flying changes. You do 70-80 kills with machine guns, we on PS4 can see shit on the ground. You're playing with competitive teammate, we don;t have the chance and end up with 3-10 ratio. In a good game we end up with 30-6 which is acceptable.And the Fliegergaust is perfect, we don;t stand a chance against fighters. and as a fighter I got downed maybe 6 times in a week, so is acceptable. Stop complaining. Not everyone is a youtuber

Like I wrote my opinion on Azure productions today. Stop whining about things in the game. Let some people enjoy and stop killing the game. ( that means stop having everything NERFED ) Let players figure a strategy out on how to combat air planes or ground AA guns. Every week RU-vidrs moan, I get killed to much. Ruined my 60-2 game.

31 - 0 and still has the nerve to complain about the fliegerfaust. In Each section of breakthrough you’re lucky to have 2 anti aircraft positions per section, the last three sections there are none for the Japanese. You jump on to one and you’re open to being blown up from the air or shot from infantry or blown up by tanks. On twisted steel there are next to no anti aircraft positions. I don’t use tanks or planes, it’s just a cheap annoying way to rank up kills with little to no skill. If you can strafe ground targets, then I can defend against it, it’s that simple. I applaud dice for making pilots think twice before strafing ground targets. Suck it up.

I would like it to be like the original that the airplanes had to land to repair and that the ship where the enemy team was spawned could be destroyed, with the war between ships in the middle.... battlefield 1942 was more advanced than this ( OPINION).. you had to do everything always depending on your squad repairs and all and it was fucking great..

The Zero is more enjoyable to fly and shoot with. It's disappointing because I love the Corsair so much. The Zero has better machine guns with less drop and spread, while the Corsair's machine guns have terrible spread and drop and take ages to shoot down a Zero. The majority of games I've played see the Zeroes absolutely shredding the Corsairs and holding air Superiority for the whole match.

When bfv was trash I'd play bf1 and this same guy and me would always be in the same server and he'd have crazy high kill counts while in a plane until the other day I was surprised to see him in the same server as me in bfv and ofcourse he was in a plane so I welcomed him with the fliegerfaust and camping the japanese plane spawn on Iwo Jima. His kill count.... 34-25

if u watch the battlefield youtubers as i do u will notice its only the pilots calling for the fliegerfaust nerf, they just want to run roughshod over infantry with no consequences. Dont get me wrong, this is fun to watch but demoralizing to play against. They cant even cap the first objective and theres like 7 on this map. 91 and 6, yet the fligerfaust is supposedly op lol

Why the fk every youtuber cried so much on fliegerfaust? That flak cannon only effective in this map and Battlefield V is not only about this map others map that have bomber in it can easily farming the infantry kills even without have to worrying about fliegerfaust since it’ll never hit the bomber which is fly so up high in the sky, such a shame watching this video of a fkin zero farming infantry kills like crazy and still bitching so much about the fliegerfaust

On Iwo Jima defense, its nasty having a plane with the 8x rockets as well. You can just stay out of reach of fliegers and constantly keep reking their tanks. Taken out a good 20 tanks in a single game and they dont even get off the beach.

I don’t know if I’m just bad but I’ve been really disappointed with the new planes, everything seems slower paced and outgunned by anything on the ground... takes ages for air to air fights and seems like guns don’t do much to ground targets

Imagine. Battlefield and war thunder. Worked together and created a real war battlefield with planes. Troops boats. And tanks. The war thunder. Tank and plane mechanics. With battlefields ground war. And the tanks on war thunder. Now that would be deadly but. That would be a 500 gb download lol

they should nerf the fliegerfausts range, and ammo cap. As for the HE cannon rounds they should nerf splash damadge or make it a slower rate of fire. Like you Dave im a combined arms player and i use both the flieger and the HE cannons but i also find them annoying to go against.

Nice... played 1942 when there was nothing else. I was a pilot. I kicked everything even the AA. From my point of perspective Air is getting way to strong

make fliegerfasut a pickup with cooldown. they cant nerf it to hard because planes need counterplay aswell. Another good pilot cant be the only counterplay because there isnt always one in your team.

20mm HE is good don't change it. Also I wish it was even more real and the Zero didn't have resealable fuel lines so if i hit it with a tracer DEAD.

the fleigerfaust is to combat the opness of planes cause bf doesnt know how to balance them. cause AA besides that is usless cause dont do enough damage. mmgs do better vs planes then most AA thats sad. thats just my opinion.
