A couple fun facts about the G43: In the closing stages of the war, a number of G43s were converted to fire 7.92 X 33mm Kurz ammo and shared magazines with the STG 44. Also, the reload animation utilizing stripper clips was actually the encouraged method. There was a continuous shortage of magazines for the G43s, and the Soviets initially suffered the same issues with their SVT-40s.
As far as these BFV weapon guides are, yours are the best there is. Also, I realize semiauto rifles are usually more efficient used with scope, I appreciate the iron sighted footage in the video 🙏. As a ww2 history freak, it's always cool to see someone else other than me using those guns the authentic way.
My go to semi auto when using the Germans! I was devastated when 5.2 ruined it, but smiled like a maniac when they basically brought back to life a month ago!
I heard that the G43 was such an overgassed weapon and that parts were so poorly heat treated,that they could crack bolt carriers and bolt sleeves.Also,because of the fact that the gun's barrel was shorter than the KAR98K,the powder wasn't allowed to burn completely before exiting the muzzle.That meant that the gun would have a slower bullet velocity and very large muzzle flash.So yeah,that would be quite a big problem for a sniper,folks.A low muzzle velocity and a high muzzle flash,are probably the 2 last things someone would want from a sniper rifle.
Due to its higher recoil and the magazine upgrade being better than the Karabin's quick reload, I'd argue it makes more sense to go with quick aim. The G43 is the aggressive option for the big damage SARs IMO, not a defensive weapon. I know of course this is personal preference, but if you want a defensive long range heavy hitter in the first place you might as well skip the G43 for Karabin for its lower recoil, making it better for longer ranges.
Is the box mag removable? I mean like you can equip it when you want it and then un equip when you don’t want it? or when you get that’s just your reload animation now forever?

@Gabbz45 On one hand, I mostly agree with you and was all too happy when they said ‘don’t like it, don’t buy it.’ That first trailer really was cringe. Seeing their struggles with TTK patches and content drip feed, waiting to buy the game when it is finished someday and dirt cheap on sale (if I buy it at all) seems like it’ll pay off. On the other hand, this argument is kind of old and newer trailers have greatly reduced the politicized talk.

One of the very few semi auto rifles in BFV that looks very good with the 3X telescopic sight. I feel like using iron sights on it just doesn't appeal to it's historical value and accuracy.

I don’t like how the non-specialized G43 needs to be fed bullets via stripper clips instead of taking out the magazine. It makes sense if you’re trying to top off the magazine, but for conventional reloading the weapon isn’t no bolt action. That, or because I’m a COD WAW player and Bf5 does stuff different
the karabin 1938m is my go to semi it does have the smallest capacity out of the 3 hard hitting dmr but it has the lowest recoil so lightened stock , custom stock high velocity bullets and recoil buffer makes the karabin really accurate the only 3 down sides are 300 rpm only 10 shots and slow reaload times if i use the g43 i use the mag spec as the g43 right tree is like a poor man karabin and the karabin left tree is a poor mans g43 , nice vid kris first vid on youtube i watched today gg and be safe

I still can’t figure out which Semi-Auto Rifle is my favorite. I wait for your stellar guides to determine which guns are statistically best among others in their class of weaponry. It may take a while for some of your videos, but they’re full of quality. Also, I watch all of your videos and love them! Good to see you making gun guides again Kris!
They’re all bad, the recent buff certainly made them better, but you still would be at a disadvantage using them in every range, imo all semi autos with a low rate of fire should be 3 shot kills from all ranges
Fahad Al-Otaishan I do agree to an extent, but I think the semi autos are much more viable. However, you need to land your shots and be the first person to hit your enemy or otherwise your enemy will probably wreck you with a full auto. I think they need much more skill than full autos, much like the bolt actions which in my opinion are the ‘worst’ class of weapons in the game.
HirohitoBurrito oh i land my shots, but its a joke that i need to land 3 headshot with some heavy recoil to kill someone relatively far away, a 7mm bullet that needs 3 headshots to kill.......

I like using the G43 for Immersion, and I use the clip reload even though it's slower cause I love how it looks when you load a rifle with clips; plus I like the increased accuracy since I tend to run it with the scope. Sometimes I'll switch to the STG for close range combat.
Its my favorite assault weapon without a doubt,i masterted this weapon so good,tge most important thing of this weapon its to learn to controll the recoil,then you can put 3 bullets on the target for just 1 sec

I am not a run hip shoot and spin on a dime kinda player on this platform...im more about being a good squad support and suppressing,resupplying and finding map campers then i am running around with a bb gun on full auto ..lol
I do, yea sure it may haved sucked at times bcuz of the ttk change and what not but i fought through it and still am, it's a love-hate relationship but for the most part I love it
