The AA guns cant do anything to a good player the literal only way to stop a single dude from molesting your entire team is to get into a plane and do it yourself but thats easier said than done considering there is always at least 3 dudes just sitting on the respawn screen waiting to jump on it the second they get the chance only to die 5 seconds later And once you get into the plane you better put on your mf try hard pants because that dude has spent more hours in flying games than you have cells in your body Im over exaggerating of course but its a real problem in the game that makes it less appealing to new players and even returning players

AAs are actually amazing in this game. The lighter planes get shredded, but the heavy bombers take a while to shoot down. That is why a good pilot who knows how to use cover can counter the insane power that AAs have. Also... Flakpanzer can shoot down anything in seconds.

@@Ethusiastic_ the thing is you cannot snipe people out of planes in BF V. It's DICE thing of not adding player model to plane cockpit. No, Ravic DID NOT snipe out anyone of BF V plane yet (in Beta he did if I recall by pure luck), the only guy who did it was Russkhof in full game, but it was also, 1 off chance of it happening. So no, don't even try to snipe plane pilots out, not worth it and won't produce results. Spent tons of hours trying to do that.

In reality, bombers WERE that OP. The only reason the Allies were able to land their normandy invasion properly was because their air supremacy enabled them to carpet bomb the shit out of German coastal defenses. The main reason why the Bismarck, Yamato, and Prince of Wales, the prides of Germany, Japan, and Britain were sunk, were aircraft. Hell, Biplanes shat on the Regia Marina at Taranto. Thats how powerful they were.

Same happened to me, although there is the option to resort to the maps only featuring infantry and ground vehicles. We already had a aircraft favouring BF game, now it's time that they design a game to the infantrymans benefit.

yeah, its not like pilots and tankers in a war have to also fight as front line infantry for their kills to count. It almost like they (and people that fill that role in games) practice to excel at fighting from their vehicle and not as an infantryman.

It's because if your dying over and over again from the same guy and you have no physical way to counter it. I mainly play infantry and the thing that made me quit BF1 was the aircraft. With little to no way to counter them effectively. Tanks I understand, there are plenty of ways to counter them as the assault class in geared directly towards countering them. But with aircraft? What can they do to counter them? Jump in a aircraft and try to fight a vastly more experienced player? Jump in one of the few AA emplacements which are also destructible? You may just argue well then they could just go to another server or do another game mode. But is that a really a valid argument. If you bought BF5 to play just tanks and aircraft why don't you play a game like Warthunder or World of Tanks. Don't be a opponent who consistently forces the entire enemy team to rage quit.

I'll never understand why people act like game balance is hard to comprehend, and that it currently isn't.

Yeah, sadly that's fcking true. Everything was fine in the beta. The majority didn't care about aircrafts being weak, but now they're faster, tankier, and deal more damage.

They are gona fix that with a patch when the game comes out on the 20th the bomber are getting a spawn delay at the beginning of the game / round.

I have seen next to no people complaining about planes being OP and whenever they do, like what I'm seeing in the comment section of this video are attacked hard and given the simple and flimsy justification of Gid Gud or "It's more realistic." In fact from personal experience from fighting people in the Reddit forums in BF1 they will go so far to ask for a Nerf of AA and eventually they will get it.

In latest update they ruined some of the AA (the static at most). The overheating of the guns is to much.

@@bjornwegener3233 for as long i can remember pilots get alot more points then players on the ground. i am a A+ heli pilot in BF 3 BF 4 and BF hardline its easy to get 30k points with the heli but as a ground player its hard to get more then 20k

@@ShekelOverlords Fighters yes. Bombers not even close. The right bomber can kill an AA-Tank in one shot. An AA-Tank can not destroy a bomber before it overheats. Not even the Ostwind can manage to destroy a bomber that comes straight at it. This should not be possible. The AA-Tanks have enought drawbacks as is. Not being able to fulfill it's purpose can't be one of them.

Realism is their best defense, but ironically AA guns in this game need 30 connected shots to kill a bomber, in reality one connected AA shots can critically end the life of a bomber

Ofc dogfighting is pretty hard so u need to be rewarded, make every kill on a plane count twice, when u kill a plane with one seat u get 2 kills, with 2 seats 4 ( i am not sure about the numbers tho, it's just the main idea, 1 seat 1 kill, 2 seats 3 kills can work too idk) so their kd don't look ridiculous in comparaison to infantry players to not hurt their ego (that would be a good thing tho, we will see who uses a plane to cheese and who uses a plane bcz he rly likes flying). This way, planes are going to be focused on dogfighting which is insanely fun but also takes skills, ofc they will still have interaction with infantry but not for farming ez kills, more playing a tactical role and occasionaly killing infantry and ground vehicles ofc.

Not exactly. I have been a pilot since battlefield 3 and even managed to just eek into top 1 percent of pilots globally in 1. However, people can be good at more than one thing. I will admit I'm shit at tanker but on ground, I'm usually pulling 50 kills or so a round. Moral of the story, you can be good at multiple things

They are pretty bad. The spitfire is a solid fighter with a great turn radius, but the BF-109 has an insane arsenal. The mosquito is a solid choice as it is unique in playstyle that the Germans have no counterpart to. It is really similar to attack planes from BF1. The bomber has the biggest fuselage that you can rarely see where you are aiming unless you are flying sideways. That plus the Junkers is broken makes it sit in the German's shadows. OH, and the Stuka. Also unique as it is a dive-bomber, but it is good. Only good. Compared to the Junkers there is no reason to take it.
