To give you an idea of how powerful these 4,000 lb bombs were in real life, the minimum safe drop height for one of these 4,000 lb blockbuster bombs was 6,000 feet. Here the shockwave would still bounce the aircraft around and pop open hatches.

Personally any hit reg(as it appears) on an aircraft in previous bf games has been wonky ie rpg shots on helis in bf4 the rocket doesn't always look like it hits

Damn good eyes. That's my BIGGEST issue when flying. Can't seem to find ground targets too well so I guess my "Mud Runs" are over and I'll stick to more Air to Air. BTW, that 4k bomb should do a hell of a lot more damage than it's doing now. It's like dropping two V-1 rockets at once. Great content, keep it up.. :)

@@nigelwigglwattle If you play BF games for history, it's your fault. This game contains homeopathic doses of reality. It doesn't exceed the quality of graphics and effects. Every mechanic in the game that involves anything apart from infantry play is stupid. 380mm rockets of the Sturmtiger do the same damage as a 6 pounder, while Panzerfaust deals more damage than both combined. (??????????????) It's a stupid game.

There is no one two punch, the 4000kg blows up every vehicle on drop. The thing is pretty great, though it brings it back to the state bf5 was on release. I spawned in on twisted steel with the 4000kg on my first game and aimed for they're spawn and blew someone's tiger up at the start of the game, not gonna lie it was funny

Honestly tanks are unplayable on maps which also have aircraft, how can you compete when you have no method to defend yourself at all and a plane can line you up from across the map and destroy right after spawning. The AA turrets are also useless, unpopular opinion here but this game would be much better without planes for everyone but the few pilots. They are overall unbalanced in my opinion.

The great thing about the de Havilland mosquito is that it's the Wooden Wonder made entirely out of wood it was one of the fastest aircraft of World War II and is made during a time of steel aircraft, no one thought that anyone would ever go back to wooden built aircraft but de Havilland proved them wrong

From what I picked up about the six-pounder it starts dropping off about 300M in front of you so if you're talkin about Leeds shoot someone effectively you got to pick out your optimal lead that you're comfortable with that's not just spray and pray so I would say they would have to be at least according to your screen about 4 in lead on your screen to land a hit

With the mosquito,before you enter the AO. Come in as slow and as high as you can and sneak a kill in with the cannon. Take out the fight pilot and then dive in with the 4k and pull a long circle to come back in from far away again

The 4000lb bomb in a mosquito was for a role the Lancaster done However the mosquito was able to do the same job better by fast lower level bombing of targets The idea was to blow up the target or even with a near miss Followed by other bombers dropping heavy And incendiary bombs which would set fire to roof tops already blown open Windows shattered And whatever littered the streets This would put whatever manpower was left into firefighting which was then followed with American day time bombing

( awhile ago) I had this plane, so there was maybe 12-15 people hiding on objective D on this map, so I dropped the bomb on top of their heads and got 10 kills and 3 assist counts as kill and that was crazy

I have never flown in a battlefield game. Been playing since BF2 but had a really unstable connection back then (lived out in the country) so I would unpredictably lose connection and drop out the sky. I'm much more used to the sloppy ground combat, got a lot of appreciation for great pilots though, looks tough.

That you manage to pull out of some crazy dives is what impresses me most. Do you crash that often? I have tried bombing, but overshoot most of my drops. I have tried using both the aiming sights and 3rd person, do you have any tips I might use to improve my aim?

I gotta say the game looks insanely good, I would’ve bought it if they didn’t lie, call me stupid, and make the game historically inaccurate.

If you want accuracy go to Fh2 or IL-2 Sturmovik, otherwise be content with a cartoon game! JU87 never met a Mosquito.

@@tim_the_gr8_904 They did call their own fanbase insults and called them uneducated. But the game is good. But it has ALOT of flaws. If they never teamed up with EA this game would've turned out fine.
