Battlefield 5 has been popping off recently and emboldened by the EA Anti Cheat announcement. Let's play and talk about the future of Battlefield. Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
2042 has had two and a half years of post launch support and V only got a year and a half. It's criminal. There should have been so much more added to this game. It's a great game that could have been on the same level as 4 and 1
@@ThaRealERAQ Rightfully so. EA literally told people not to buy the game because people didn't 3want to play as a cyborg woman leading soldiers onto the front lines.
This was the first Raytracing game announced, remembered this was a huge deal for graphics features then control and watch dogs. I just hope they work more on physics and realism.
Fun fact; in Hamada, the first map on the video, you can be in the shadow of a mountain and having direct sight of the sun in the sky (which is impossible, obviously)
Battlefield 1 is still popping too. The Back 2 Basics (B2B) mode is up right now. So much fun. Frontlines with faction locked bolt action iron sights only/
Absolutely loving your return to BF5 Jack, I work in the fire service within NZ. Big stress relief watching this kind of gameplay with a cup of tea. Cheers
you're sounding a lot happier in this video which is nice to hear. I will always appreciate the BF V content, I still go back and play it from time to time, the headshot noise is unmatched
Let's be honest, with all of the managment leaving EA's "new" Ridgeline's game studio I don't think there's much holding Battlefield together, except a few sticks and some gum
While BF1 is my personal favorite, BFV did have the best movement. The stealth was better too because of the spotting being different, no pings from firing an unsuppressed weapon, laying in rubble made you invisible to the untrained eye. It was awesome in those aspects. If I could choose how spotting works in future BF games, it would be that only snipers can spot players like in other BF games, or uavs and other tools. It makes them better and more useful at supporting teammates.
Unfortunately I think that's due to releasing games too early prior to completion. Everyone raves about BF4 ut fauls to remember it was known as bf3.5 in the beginning.
Funny timing, i played this game for the first time yesterday and its amazing yes it was a bit rough at launch but dice never disappointed us ! Keep these videos comming Jack we love 'em
Yes they do, take a good look at BF2042 😅 after all these months. Even inviting top streamers and while they give important advice, they still dont listen (Schroud). Hell even the scoreboard wasnt a think onky after 6 months or so.. Its a big failure 😅
pretty funny actually i was picking the game back up yesterday, and was checking your YT to see if the game still had a following, keep making vids so people will wanna come back, Breakthrough has been a Blast!
Jack you should do a video on the BFV graphics/lighting mods even the modded factions/outfits. It gives a new life to this game. And it works on official servers! love your videos bro
I would LOVE more content for BFV. I was one of the ones who was disappointed with the lack of content but loved the gameplay. The construction mechanic was an actually halfway decent addition, carrying first aid for yourself was so nice and being low on supplies just meant you should push for an objective because you could resupply there. Not to mention, it actually felt gritty at times, and that’s what brings me back to games tbh.
@1:08 Jack, that damn blast gave me a jumpscare as well haha i really said "oh sh*t" & my wife looked at me like "you good?" 😂 (I have my headphones on)
Jack, the recipe of success here is to have a schedule with BF4, BF1 and BFV, in any order, doesn't really matter. From time to time, throw in a random game that marked your attention or had a strong positive impact on your life and everything is set. But on a second thought, this is your channel, so do with this information as you please. Cheers!
Apropos Jump scares. You playing Alien Isolation. You should do more horror games where you talk through. It is one of my favorite "bits", because you get so sucked into it. It's fantastic. I love it. Much love from tiny little Denmark.
Yes Jack.....More....More bf5....😂 It is always a nostalgia whirlwind of memories watching you stream bf5 when I was in the hospital and it honestly kept me going
Me and my friends have been playing a ton of BFV recently (console) and there’s a ton that’s super great. Unfortunately the vehicle balancing feels pretty bad and makes a lot of sessions end in a bad mood lol.
Battlefield 1 is still perfect. It's setting, it's atmosphere, its unit design, map design. All beautiful. I still play it regularly. I would pay a lot of money for a definitive edition or even more for a colonial DLC! This is such a good game! I just hope we'll slightly ever touch its level. ❤ Even Hardline is underrated!!
It’s so overrated. Other than it’s incredible graphics, and the greatest multiplayer ragdoll animations are I’ve ever seen, BF1 is abysmal to play. The guns feel horrible and the way the conquest system and behemoths work are a nightmare. BFV with the BF 1944 mod installed triumphs over BF1 in every department.
@@Tomofdahook17 I see how you can feel like that but I can't agree. The game gunplay is very nice and the map design is good. I really like the conquest system and the game was the first one with breakthrough!
@@Tomofdahook17Totally agree. The unneeded changes to conquest made the game a one sided battle with rare comebacks. The whole thing was just battlefront 1 reskinned and you could tell instantly. Character animation being the biggest givaway
I remember having a awesome round playing scout with the k98 on the germa side. The thing that alwas stood out to me on that round was the fact the character started counting kills.
I literally say this all the time. Never in my life have I been more sure of such an easy buck to be made as this. The big gap right now is modern combat in the BF series. 2042 sucked at launch and even now a lot of people don’t like + it’s somewhat futuristic. The main two good bf games right now are both world war games. Bf4 is your only option for modern combat and let’s be honest, that game just doesn’t compare to bf3 and is played out. They literally just remaster bf3 with updated graphics, and without doing basically any work, they profit.
I remember when we hated battlefield 5. But I ended up loving it later. It was so good after they released pacific theater. Had they stuck with it, it would have been great..
BF V hating was just a meme. It had rough patches, but it was never bad that it deserved the hate. The stuff surrounding the game, mostly due to EA being EA, did deserve the hate. The game itself was always fine at the very least.
@@hidsgi-games5369 I think the initial lauch trailer caused a lot of the backlash and it never recovered from that. Only after a year or so when Pacific was introduced and most bugs where ironed out the game was appreciated more. To bad they quit supporting the game soon after that.
Hey Jack! Love the video! I've been diving back into BF1 and was pleasantly surprised to find there were still Aus/NZ servers. Recon you'll be do a revisit of that any time soon?
BFV has some of my absolute favorite maps, like Marita, the greek islands, the french farm ect. as well as some of my all time least favorite maps, like the first desert map you were on. Glad it's getting some love though, it's a great game.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE that your playing bfv, you should play some breakthrough jack, and maybe have a bit of trolling the enemy team, tbag torch kill a tank. See if you can manage to pull that off. Or see how many kills you can get in the jeeps❤❤
i think this was one of my favorite bf games outside bf3. its a shame they let the community down on this game. when everything went right in this game with the teams it was so fun and would give you some awesome battles
While I agree he is two faced, to be fair the game three years ago didn’t need praise. It needed criticism. Without criticism it wouldn’t have been worked on. It was TERRIBLE at launch and years after.
@@cococock2418 okay, but the problem is, it didn't receive criticism either. It received backlash from players who never touched the game a day in their life, on a very large scale. The game was not good at launch, but literally was fixed after a month or two. And now it's great, and could've been even better. But Jack moved over to warzone instead. And now he decides he loves the game. That's my problem.
Hey Jack! Next time you play on marita, go assault class with a piat or bazooka and call in sector artillery in the main town area(e objective in conquest). The chaos hopping between buildings and blowing the walls up is insane.
Hey Jack I love any video you make. I've got a question. Do u ever think you would make a video playing with matmio and Tom and all again like in bf4 I can remember watching you and mat back then destroying whole lobbies and just having fun. Just been cool to see the old crew back even if it's not on bf4 or 3 any of them would cool to see u guys play again. Thanks keep up the vids always quality
When I saw the trailers, I was one of the ones protesting the game. And I fact, I didn’t buy it until a year or so later. However, I got around to buying it for my PS4 and I LOVED IT. The Pacific DLC in specific was amazing. However, one thing they need to fix is team balancing.
I would totally buy a 40€ Mappack for BFV containing "Wolga Crossing, Stalingrad, Balkan Bazar, Beach Landing, Normandy Hills, Reichstag Blitz, Back to Sinai, ..."
I remember when Marita first launched, it only took 1 or 2 times playing it on Breakthrough before I realized it was one of my most favorite maps in any battlefield game I have ever played! I remember playing Provence a few times when it was only a smaller game mode map and its sad they didn't keep that variant of the map in the game when they redid the map, both versions were fantastic!
Jack, I recently started playing 2042 for the first time, and I think my expectations were so low that I actually don't hate it! In fact, I'm having some fun with it! I love that you can play with bots, just like the old days of BF2 and 2142. And having to do challenges to unlock weapons and attachments reminds me of BF4. The live attachment feature is really huge as well. I really don't like the lack of music, the removal of leaning, some weird movement things, and the TTK though 😅 Amongst some other things too of course hehe
I actually started playing BFV again today, and my RX 6700XT with a R7 5700X, I can run at a locked 154FPS on my 165Hz monitor. It runs great, it looks great and just works. Man I wish we'd at least get good looking and performing games again. Also RIP Afterburner once EA Anticheat arrives.
If BF5 didn't have an abysmal launch, if the robo lady with a cricket bat wasn't the first thing people saw when watching the trailers, and if they added the Eastern front, this could have easily been the best WW2 game ever. Focusing on "inclusivity" and lesser known battles of WW2 hurt this game. The Pacific content should have been in at launch, and Eastern Front DLC should have come out when the Pacific DLC did. The fact you got the Russians in BF1 and not BF5 is crazy, especially considering the role they played in WW2 vs. WW1. I also love the fortification building that had so much potential in a game like battlefield. To scrap, it seems like a huge wasted opportunity. Best of all was destruction, BF5 had actual destruction. I always loved BF1 and BF5 seeing the clean pretty landscape, and then the overhead at the end of the match showing the devastation both teams caused to the landscape made it feel like an ACTUAL Battlefield.
So much potential... the movement was so good, they even added leaning, jump rolls, swimming underwater, crouch sprinting etc. and then we got bf2042 lol. The pacific updates were so good, imagine getting eastern front etc. pfff
