I love the BF:1942 music in the background. I used to leave my mom’s house pretending that I was going to high school, then go to my dad’s apartment and get high with him and play BF:1942 instead. I was a junior when that game and MOH:AA came out. My dad had an brain aneurysm that made him not able to use good judgement, but I loved him very much. He died a few years ago from polycistic kidney disease. I miss those times tremendously.Nostalgia is one helluva powerful drug.

@@Turgz No they arent, C4 and Composite B are high explosives, they dont use shrapnel as theyre primary weapon, they use chemical compounds, gun powder and explosive compounds for the job
@@MrRedeyedJedi Not really, if a soldier with with flesh and tissue can absorb the impact of a grenade without affecting its exterior then plywood with shrapnel can certainly withstand frag grenades (watch failed ISIS bombings)
@@johnyonghwang6112 I don't think you are fully understanding the physics behind a cuncussive blast. It does not matter what compound is used (not gun powder in grenades BTW) The pressure required to rupture a thick metal casing generates a shockwave which can easily kill or damage material close by. An example of this was demonstrated by our squad leader with blank rounds. One 5.56 blank round was fired a few feet away from a wooden crate, it blew a 1 foot hole in it. The scrapnal in frag grenades are the primary cause of death and injury, but not the only cause.
@@TankDragonSherman grenade cant do that shit its purpose is different than whats shown in exagerated video games like bf 1943. Grenades create pop and lottta smoke and they launch shrapnel everywhere. Purpose is not to destroy an object. C4s and TNTs do that.
BFV destruction is pretty static. No where near the level of previous titles. You can’t change the landscape. This is what made every round unique in up until now. I’m pretty disappointed that tank shells aren’t able to at least destroy the tree my enemy is hiding behind in the game or that buildings aren’t as easily destructible. I personally think that BF5 isn’t as visually appealing either as BF1.
I love rifle bullets look like they penetrate the armor of a m4 sherman in Battlefield 5, I know its a small detail, but many of us gamers LIVE for small details and pure look of realism. The bf5 sherman also looks so plain, like it drove out of the factory and straight onto the battlefield, they shouldve added some tank treads, gas cans, helmets, even sand bags to the tank like Battefield 1943.

Realistically, a grenade probably wouldn't knock a palm tree over, while they do explode, its the shrapnel that kills you, probably not a powerful enough explosion to knock a tree down

I used to love that game, I've been considering playing one of the more recent titles to see if it'll scratch that itch, but looking at the trailers it's a bit too overdone if you know what I mean... I liked the simplicity of 1943.

not Isaak Occasionally I play BF1943 on X360 and didn't have any problems with the servers. But I hate playing fps on thr console so I play mostly one round in probably like 2-3 months. Its just frustrating. I dont know the reason why EA decided 1943 to be console exlusive. Back then in 2010 we (pc gamers) wanted Battlefield to go back in ww2.

Bcus on the pacific theater its mostly naval warfare and bf5 pacific war is mostly 1945 and islands on the pacific are much more harder to land and they are on islands and they only have carriers and carriers cant hold a heavy plane with people and it would take much longer to fly US to the Pacific
... The short 75 mm sherman is an entire different variant than the long 76 (w). Both are present in the battlefield V game as modifications. There is no graphical change. Its just historical preference. P.S not all 76's had muzzle breaks.
How were games like Bad Company 2 and 1943 so great with audio and BFV have popgun tank guns and rifle shots that sound more like clapping your hands really hard
One thing for sure though; either of those BattleFilth games were mod-friendly (BF1943 was supposed to have a PC port, but pulled out for unknown reasons) unlike the glorious Refractor engine-based Battlefield series! 😎
The biggest thing I saw in the thumbnail was the M4(possibility A3) and a sherman firefly. I don’t know if he did but it’s just a different tank all together
MajorOcelot hand grenades are not meant to destroy walls it wouldn’t do any real damage unless the structure was extremely thin and it was right next to it
@@ruhidmohamad the grenade was shot at a thin wooden wall and was meant to explode on impact. It would've taken out that wall, but not collapsed the entire shack in one hit.
One thing i want to say about this video, the thumbnail is the same tank but updated versions, The tank on the right is an M4A2 Sherman with a 36 Milimeter cannon, while the tank on the left is an M4A2 (76) , This tank has a 76 Milimeter cannon with a muzzle brake attatched to it. Its not an updated Graphical version of the tank, its completely new Tanks.
A hand Grenade can not bring down a tree they are built to take down people not cut forests. From what I read online only a direct charge placed on a tree would take it down, unless something like a shell landed next to it.
Oh man the destruction is one Thing that i miss in the new Battlefield Games! I mean Look at Battlefield Bad company 2 it has so more destruction than Battlefield 3,4,1 and 5
A BF2 remaster would be awesome. No pvt 1 pvt 2 pvt 3 bs. Just 1 of each rank, and if you don't keep your score per minute up, you get demoted. Also, include squads and commander mode. Not, "capture this base to get this support feature".
