Battlefield Zombies was never something I had on my radar but they released a new Wave based Zombies mode with a Dead Space tie in?! Let's play with @Stodeh @Westie @TheTacticalBrit Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
The slow out of date gameplay at first had me saying "Dice Please!". But when things sped up, zombies acquired molotovs, and firearms. Pretty sweet to hear a bit of panic and anxiety. Isn't that why we play video games.
@@scttewegner72you really don't have to be a CoD fan to have tried CoD zombies. I remember the first one in WaW which is from 2008. Pretty good game even if CoD is bad now
I would buy a WHOLE game with that premise!! Think of all the kinds of Dinos that u could fight, helldivers style. Imagine shooting a rocket launcher at a TRex!
@@Disaster_Tourist no it wouldn't.... both games are made on the Frostbite engine. they could literally port the models and animations straight into BF2042.
Please don't will this level stupidity to the world. Battlefield needs zombies like battlefield needed to be an extraction shooter. Battlefield used to stand on its own as a fun ass game, trying to be things it's not ruined it from the ground up.
When it's the Apocalypse and the dead are rising but you're British "Blimey, lads, seems we've bouted into a sort of plague ridden Era havent we?" "Right-o ol' chap" "Oh poppycock seems my arms been eaten clean off, such a bothersome trouble" "Ahhh none of that now, is tea time" (General British muttering, "Indeed", "Good Heavens", "Mmmm, yes. Quite", etc.)
Lmao, if I heard all this I'd be laughing but that'll probably bring me back to some sanity, knowing the world had gone to ish with zombies that could RUN!
@@donkaibs5515I say old chap, you are from good old blighty and don't speak like this? Heavens, no wonder the empire is in a bit of a sticky wicket. God save the king. Keep calm and all that.
This is probably Dice playing around with the idea of Zombies. TBH it would be really cool to see a fully fleshed out zombies for the next BF game. I doubt it will ever happen. However I'm in favor of the idea, assuming it doesn't take too many recources away from the multiplayer.
Yeah I'd prefer no zombies. It's bound to take resources away from other things most of us are more interested in. Also zombie modes are very repetitive; the novelty wears off quickly.
@@NobbsAndVageneExactly.If you wanna make a zombies game mode then put actually good effort. But making a half baked game with half baked optional game modes is what cod doing for years. And nobody wants bf to do it too.
It's a serviceable first time experience, but the problem is that it's a limited time mode that doesn't ramp difficulty up anywhere near as much as it should and like hazard zone is extremely underbaked. Could've had higher level weapons with attachments. Could have added a puzzle where you have to find a key to get to the elevator. So much potential.
Its nice but with EA its clearly just to milk more money out of remaining population on 2042(the cool outfits and skins are premium) If they want to make people happy is to give us DS2 remake but they already canned that one...
@@REDtheBEAST ds2 was awesome it even had a cool pvp mode most ppl didnt know about or try. ds3 was pretty cool loved the co op and carver had his own side story if you played him.
For such a 'spare parts' kinda game mode that they bootstrapped together... it doesn't look terrible :D I agree, would be cool if they expanded on this, like difficulty levels and different maps, different guns, new enemies? :o ...perhaps they could put that 128 player cap to use XD
I hope when they end support they give the option for players to select all the official game modes they have released over the season, it annoys me that they release a kick ass game mode like strike team and then **poof** it’s gone.
Hope you go back to cod or another brightfull fps and stop telling that jokes about "kick ass game modes". Strike was good? No, we dont need another CS go. This Dead Space colaboration is good to you? No, it can't be, we dont need another zombie mode. We need Battlefield, go back to cod for some sweety experience, and stop telling that fucking jokes about good game modes in 2042.
Crawford with the shotgun absolutely rips in this mode; that vulcan turrent is so nice to have. I think my best so far with that "loadout" is somewhere between 350-360 kills or so.
Just played it. 80 ribbons give you Legendary skin of MP28. Got that in 30 mins play. Use Boris and get ammo crate from weapon station. On last sector, buy T-UGS and plant near right door.
One thing i found out is if you stand ontop of something like that hand rail at the beginning and anything that just puts you up about hald torso. The walkers and runnera will not attack you. Same thing with the barriers support class carrys. Slap one of those bad boys in front of a traffic way and they just stop. The whole thing is stupid easy. Except the juggernauts, those thing shred you in what feela like nano seconds and those molotovs are accurate as hell.
I honestly hope they continue this. Imagine doing it on other maps but you can maybe purchase vehicles for score. Or maybe this is a small teaser for whats to come in the next game?
My brother friend and I found that if one player is crawford, the operator with the minigun, one player is Irish, and another player is Dozer, the fourth doesnt matter but those three are vital for late game with Irish’s area denial sentry it comes in handy for the smokers and the molotovs that they throw. Dont know if this helps anyone but if anyone is interested in having some strategy this should help!
Kind of the problem with any AI no? They all have rules and parameters that human players with half a brain cell can learn to exploit. That's why they're popular because they're accessible but they die out because of the low skill ceiling.
@@damienmcdonald7610 No Iam talking about how easily they can be distroyed, They should created them more difficult to kill so there will be more challenging as well as more fun and more purpose to continue play this mod.
I'm like 90% sure that getting a DMR and a shotgun as the first buyable weapons is a reference to how they're also usually the first available wall buys in most COD Zombies maps
If that's truly why you've come here (?) then visiting the comment section was a mistake lol! I'm not defending EA/Dice as this isn't exactly my favorite BF game, but the fact is that they could make a perfect game and still ppl would b*tch & moan about it lmao! Such is human nature, I suppose 😂
I had it change up on the second sector like its randomizing what is required. I also think maybe it depends on what you buy which determines the level of attack. At least it seemed that way
HAY! These matches aren't always the same! Ex: first room usually has 3 waves...I just did one that had 7. And they were running! Second room had machine gunners! Crazy match...brutal! We got to 37 waves and failed. Awesome match!
Angel, Irish, Zain, Crawford, Faulk, Sundance and Dozer are good operators for this mode. Have Irish and Dozer close off areas with their shields and Sundance very good for group kills just need someone to train them. Although Boras has the sentry for a extra gun its lock-on speed, turn speed and accuracy won't hold up in mid to late rounds. The Shotgun hold very well in all waves once obtained be sure to always to have Angel in your party to get full ammo for it since you only get 1-3 shells pre ammo drops. Always buy Armor first then use it then buy a different equipment. Incen Nade is wonderful
i am playing this all day today its actually good quite hard to progress too have to have good aim and strategy. Also gotta give it to battlefield 2042 it actually runs on xeon x58 series unlike warzone 2.0, Also does it looking 5x as good with good vehicle mechanics. so much xp for the zombies mode also i unlocked so much first few tries at it lol.
