I played a liitle bit of 1942, but i dont think i played it enough when i was little to call it an actual "experience." This one was truely the first one i played and the experience i had through this game was outstanding, this is still one of my favorite games of all time. I have the second one and it doesn't really do this one justice.
Bad Company 2 is the most balanced BF, more than BF3 and BF4 together... And it had fair amount of vehicles, we didn't need 4 tanks to shoot on the objective. +Yeah they could add jets but maps were too small for them but still Bad Company 2 is way balanced than today battlefields...
This soundtrack was gorgeous. It gave the game the serious core beneath the humour. This game was pitched in the same tone as Three Kings - it made you laugh, but it was still fairly realistic. Even the plot wasn't especially unbelievable. THERE'S GOLD IN THEM THAR HILLS!
I've always said that game was like the good the bad and the ugly. You are the good, legionnaire the bad, and Serdar the ugly. (Apols I made a typo here before).
I'm sorry, but this had to be the best of all the Battlefield themes. I love you 2 and 42, but that fucking violin/chello/string instrument kicks too much ass.
Despite this just being the chamber theme, the excellent use of the percussion and backup strings give it the depth and presence of a whole orchestra. The music for this game was just done so damn well. I really with the newer battlefield games would return to this style.
The best soundtracks from Battlefield in recent time is probably all the Battlefield 1 DLC music. Especially for They Shall Not Pass and In The Name of The Tsar. Verdun and Fort De Vaux had great atmospheric music. The Russian maps also shared the same great atmospheric music.
wasnt it awkward when you clearly stumble upon the final set piece for the level as your first encountare after scouring the wastelands of the level as recon?
Bad Company had one of the most memorable Menu music / Theme songs in the BF series this gen imo. The Piano Menu Theme for the first level is simply amazing
Very creative. The A-Team represents 4 characters and this theme is a String Quartet, Which is 4 violinists in one group. Highly creative as always DICE.
When we were playing these games at a young age we didn't realise how spoiled we were with good games that also had brilliant atmospheric soundtracks it goes to show how you never know how good you have something until you lose it
This was the first battlefield game I played, got this from the used games section (PlayStation) of my local GameStop a couple years before it closed, what a blast
Imo the best battlefield i've played, there is something to it that no other battlefield and call of duty has. Man This theme song gives me goosebumps. Nostalgia.
I remember when people criticized this version, saying it sounded like crap versus the Battlefield 2 version. Now everyone is praising this version because of the strange bass-y version we have now.
i hope bad company will get remastered with this theme it would be the best selling battlefield ever i remember playing the storyline when i was a child
I'm not into "realistic" shooters, I think the more realistic shooter that a I play is S.T.A.L.K.E.R., but I remeber playing a demo of this game on my Xbox360 and actually enjoying it a lot, especially the story. Years later too bad I found that only the 2nd game is on PC, and sadly I don't have my 360 anymore to buy this. I wanted to play this game so badly, but at least I can hear this beautiful re-edition of the original BF theme.
i never played battlefield BC, as my first battlefield was 1942 and then i went onto hardline and 4, but to be honest the theme and that smiling grenade really makes me want to play the game
play BC 1 for the campaign then move to BC2 campaign then its multiplayer. Its hella fun, especially the Campaign, so many humor in these game which newest battlefield lacks
Call Of Duty’s got Task Force 141. A military team consisting of the best warriors on the planet. Battlefields got Bad Company. A mismatch team of hilarious rejects place to serve for their country to be cannon fodder.
My first battlefield experience and now i have played all of them 1 to 4 and I enjoy it so much and now battlefield 1 is coming I can't wait and I remember just sitting on home screen listening to this song lol
