As a veteran player I can confirm that most matches go hard, especially the supremacy modes. And it's also stupid fun kicking butt against the dumb inexperienced return players.

Battlefront II has been my go-to game since its release in 2017 lol. Like I’m literally stuck in the past playing a game that’s nearly 7 years old on a PS4. It still brings me joy though.

HvV is pretty much alive on PC, but there is so many veterans, lesser numbers of glitchers and cheaters and OH BOY some unfortunate players with 0 or 25 lvl to fed them. That was a truly sad story.

I’m considered a veteran of this game, but I’ve haven’t been playing it for a while. I think it’s because of Jedi Survivor.

I play on Xbox and I never have a hard time finding games. Well... as long as you are playing Galactic Assault, Supremacy (Republic era), Hero Showdown, Or Heroes Vs Villains,

I wish EA Battlefront 2 had all the single-player content Battlefront 2 2005 had.

This is why I hate games that are purely multiplayer or have "forced" PVP, if no one is actively playing the game isn't really much of a game anymore.. if a game has multiplayer but is mainly co-op focused, then usually players will come back and stick around, look at Warframe, PVP in that game is dead... no one touches it. but the PvE stuff everyone's in on it, some such as my self go solo but its still being actively played.CS-GO and TF2 are doing something right since they're still being played non stop despite being mainly pvp.

I play PS4 nearly every day. Start off with a half lobby but it’s full by phase 2. From Melbourne but have to play US east and west or German servers tho.

There are some full lobbies in the game however you have to switch servers, basically hopping around until you find a game sadly

Lots of nonsense in this video, this game is far from dead. Servers are full on Xbox and PS (US servers). And sequel maps are not featured in the rotation any more often than other era maps.

I started playing again and man the game is fun. Yes, sometimes you get into games that we have to wait for ppl. But, when you do, ppl stay in the lobby until the game is over. Give it a try and have fun

Have you heard of kyber private servers? They're about to release version 2.0, in short they are private servers that you can play with mods with other people, and they're adding proximity chat too. It's only on PC, but I think it is an incredible thing that could revitalize the game. Also I totally love co op, that's the most fun in my opinion, plus populates pretty quick in this time and age where not many people are playing.

The Classic Collection is way better

As someone who's a bit of a vet, if you play HvV you'll almost always find a game quickly, same thing with co-op. But with HvV, you have to play well as a team. I've gotten my ass kicked by relatively nooby enemies because they worked as a team while my team would go in one on one. It's 4v4, not 1v1v1v1v1v1, you get the point. It's always easier to do well if you have someone to play with. Most vets tend to be relatively toxic unfortunately, but sometimes if you ask, they may give you some tips. I always give tips when ppl ask how I do certain things. Back in the day I'd even invite people to a Party so I could help them in real time.

The American servers for PlayStation don’t have any problems finding games. The only veterans with a lot experience hang out in heroes vs villains, but you still only have trouble finding an Ewok hunt game loo

I still play BF 2015 heaps and if you keep your ping origin on automatic I’m able to find Walker assault games in the morning and late afternoon At night time for us Aussies I can only get cargo cause of time zones

I seriously do not understand what do you mean by not many people playing. On Xbox I can find any game within seconds, pc is a little slower but the same can be said.

yeah i recently booted up the game and had a blast again its a great game its a shame that the battle front collection is so damn bad like all they had to do was cross-play and cross-progression with no region lock tons of servers / let us host our own servers and mod support for PC and upscaled textures etc if they've done that then it could have united everyone on battlefront 1-2 (2004 - 2005) in one nice package but they some how messed up a already finished game?

Besides the disappointing campaign, this game's main problem was the over-reliance on microtransactions, and the game mode and map selection menu was just awful. Otherwise, yeah, pretty cool game.

I’m enjoy offline mode

I converted my Bing points into Microsoft credit (or whatever it’s called and) bought the full edition which was on sale for 5 dollars and when I’m not queueing into an empty map, I’m getting clapped by Max levels. Still tho, it’s fun and it brings back memories of the OG battlefront 2.

Hey Andrew, in your more recent Battlefront 2 videos, i’ve been noticing that you have difficulties in matchmaking. I think it might be the servers that you choose to play in as on my end, especially in the evening Europe time, I always get matches in all modes almost instantly. Just have a look at those servers. I play in the Germany one.

I think it’s just a region thing because I’m from the uk and can find matches and pretty much everything I mainly do hvv the only mode I think is completely dead is hero starfighters but I’ve never been a fan of starfighters modes anyway it’s crazy to see how this game launched to how it ended I’m currently on 3704 hours and still have a blast

You named the exactly the reason why I only play offline or koop. Just because I can’t find actual pvp games and if I do it just isn’t fun.

You should give Movie battles 2 a try, its pretty hard but really fun

I don't know if its just me or if Andrew has terrible luck with servers, but I always almost instantly find games in whatever mode I want to play (apart from hero showdown) and this is even on pc so not the biggest player base pf the game I don't think, so I never really understand where he is coming from in these videos

If u have pc and download some mods its a nice change even if ur playing co-op as well. There are some pretty cool skins you can download, that would be cool if you made a video with some mods playing some bf2. Love the video 🙌

I play ps5 I can find games perfectly fine. Yes the game is filled with veteran that’ll destroy you but it’s currently got a lot of returning players/new player that have now idea how to play.

It's unfortunate the amount of glazing he's doing for this game. It's like sure, there's a lot of content in EA's Battlefront 2, but it took them over 2 years to add in all said content to even compete with the original Battlefront 2.

"Can't find a game?" In US East (Playstation) if I click the quickmatch button it puts me in starfighter assault. Sometimes when I'm trying to quickly click on the HvV mode I accidentally click on Hero Starfighters. And guess what, it finds me a server immediately. Showdown, HvV, Supremacy, Galactic Assault, and Blast are always popular too.

Trooper modes only for me thanks. Heros too spammy and finicky. even if someone has best star cards in troopers modes, noobs still have a chance. in HvV gimme a break...

WE WANT BATTLEFRONT 3 !

I know people talk about not getting a battle front 3, but to me battle front 2 is in the hard place of being a really good game and staying a good game or getting a new one that isn't that good and then everyone abandons battle front 2, which is still the better game. I'm honestly perfectly content with battle front 2, other than lack of new stuff, but honestly that doesn't really bother me.

I’m not gonna lie on may 3rd is going to be exciting because In Fortnite they are releasing a new Star Wars Update and i know that will be so cool so I guess we have something new that is Star Wars related and it is confirmed that Chewbacca is releasing in the update in the item shop

if youplay a mach under the age of rupublic iusualy get in a mack fairly quickly and with some people. most people are bots but its still really fin playing as a clone
