Ikora: He's doing well. He stepped into the role with grace. In truth, this just codified something he'd already been doing. Crow struggled when he first came to the Tower, no doubt. But now it can't function without him. He tells me Cayde gave him everything he needed to do the job. I suspect it involved a dare.

Back when Crow didn't have his Uldren memories he got connected pretty quick with the tower folk, hunters out deep in the fields like Shiro-4, and even had connections with Eliksni and wanted to do stupid things that could threaten the tower, he was prepping for this role since he was risen!

@whiterose2321 I'd rather it be maybe a strike. Have US be involved with the dare in literally any way shape or form. The only step the guardian has seemingly helped crow with in becoming the next hunter vanguard is by killing uldren to allow for his revival lmfao. Sure we didn't oust him with osiris, but we didn't exactly do too much beyond all that. One expansion he's working with the vanguard, the next he's now the hunter vanguard leader itself. And in none of the space in between to I feel exactly integral to that development. It felt like what the guardian does is always the penultimate issue (which is typically is) and all the side story just gets resolved off screen. Unless of course it's based within the seasonal story. Which with that being the case, why couldn't we have helped crow over the course of a season then? It's just disappointing
