The Battleground Wargames Show 2023 was held at the Queens Campus Sports Hall in Stockton-on-Tees on Saturday 25th November with this being it's 10th Anniversary Year. With easy access and ample parking, the event was well attended with over 850 visitors coming along to see the show that offered something for every wargamer and best of all it was free to enter. This video captures the majority of the games on display, along with the other attractions at the event.

A wargame is a game that realistically simulates warfare, many recreate specific historic battles where others are set in fantasy worlds and science fiction. They can cover whole wars, campaigns, battles or lower-level engagements within them. Many simulate combat on land, but there are games for naval, air combat and other types battlefield.
