The idea to take "Space Fantasy" and build a military-esque march over it. Two completely different things that should not work together but are made to work together very well. This track gets me every time I hear it.
I think it took some inspiration from the Imperial March theme from Star Wars, which itself took inspiration from Gustav Holst's The Planets, specifically the Mars Suite.
What bomb mini-game? Edit: Oh, THAT bomb mini-game. Now I understand your struggle. Jeez, I had so many close calls too. And all that robot can say is *CaLl Me WhEn YoUr ReAdY tO hElP mE oUt LaTeR*
@@ilybabe99 I didn't know you could hit the coin tiles to win in battlerock, and i spent hours trying to beat it. Then in dreadnaught galaxy i thought it would take forever, but i figured out that you could use the coin tiles
Of course that’s subjective, I personally feel the Undertale soundtrack is the best video game soundtrack of all time, but I totally see where you’re coming from and I LOVE the galaxy series soundtracks! I have to rank it #3 on my list of favorite video game soundtracks. It’s absolutely beautiful, and I LOVE Spacecore and orchestra, this combines two of some of my favorite things!
A dropship lands I a desert lit by a full moon, back ramp opens to let out a pair of all terrain vehicles with a weapon turret off before immediately dusting off. "Copy. Broadsword 1-1 & 1-2 proceeding on mission."
Lol bit of story get ya, I love starting from the beginning of this game, And then this level appears, A small dread for this level but I always tell myself "At least it's not dreadnought galaxy"
it is not just a leitmotif of "Space fantasy". It is, as another person commented here, like adding a military march and more epic melodies on top of it, if you notice both themes last the same and have the climax at the same point, which is at 1:06
Best video game soundtrack ever made. What other game soundtrack has such a diverse feel to it? Ranging from fun and nostalgic, to epic and to beautiful
I always wonder how it could be, that when someone at the nintendo office suggested the gearmo bomb throwing challenge, not a simple person said 'no, they'll hate it'
The beat for this song sounds similar to "The Living Failures" from Bloodborne: The Old Hunters. Both songs are epic AF tho so I'm really not complaining.
Sorry but no other Mario Game in Mario’s history can ever come close to beating this Masterpiece of a game. Only if Nintendo decides to make SMG3 will it ever have a chance.
