I thought this was an original until i found a version by Georgia satellites back to 1986. However this version is far far better than the original. Great job guys

The Georgia Satelite's version was a cover too! This son was originally recorded by the North Carolina band The Woods (that once included Dan Baird as The Peckerwoods). Was also covered by Warren Zevon. But this version is great.
