I love how you humanized the Cardassians Venom.... it’s so easy to lose sight that, for the most part, many of them were just patriots fighting for what they, no doubt, thought were valid reasons. No group, no not a single one, is all evil and none all good.... that view of history for children. You’re making art here brother; most definitely art.

Montgomery_ This was quite the expansive video containing multiple smaller battles and their overarching shared battle in regard to this theater of the Dominion War. Also enjoyed the back-and-forth perspectives between the Klingons and Cardassians.

There's something about seeing mixed Klingon and Starfleet formations that just makes me so excited! Also I am absolutely LOVING all this new variety in the Klingon Fleet! It's refreshing seeing Kamarags, D-10s, Boreths, new B'rel variants, and even some form of heavy cruiser that wasn't a vorcha, which completely shocked me! ex: 5:31 Incredible work here as always!

I was so sad to see that K’Chang fell in this battle. He was my favorite of your original characters in these stories. But nonetheless, excellent work as usual, Venom

Captains log USS Normandy Adm Caughey recording. I really hoped I didn’t have to relive this nightmare but I suppose it’s vital to the war. After the 9th fleet was encircled we of several other fleets dispatched our most powerful combat vessels in an attempt to break through the pocket and give both the 9th fleet and the Klingons a chance at escaping. We tried and tried to knock a hole in the line and keep it open. SFC nicknamed our operation “ doorstop”. Unfortunately every attempt we made to punch through resulted in fail after fail. We lost a lot of good people trying to break through. On a few occasions we were able to briefly hold systems only to loose our fuel and fleet replenishment ships to what seemed like random raids. ( I later discovered that the dominion were tipped off by a spy at HQ). Those poor engineers and merchant marine folks were really getting beat up. After a few weeks we had to give up and after the 9th was destroyed it really sucked the morale out of the bridge. Most of our ships including the RRTF Normandys were all pretty shot up at that point and I felt I had to personally apologize to General Martok for our failures. He assured me that the empire was greatful we made the effort. Back at our starbase I began to get nightmares from wolf 359 again as I did this battle. I started to drink again too just to sleep cause the nightmares were so bad nothing but good vintage bloodwine was just enough to dull the screams in my nightmare. Martok, Sisko and Adm Ross had us decorated for bravery and for valor for the act. We went back to Benzar to lick our wounds. I have to say this was at my lowest point and I had doubts of winning the war. Thankfully after operation returns success I quit drinking cause the nightmares stopped. I’m sure the counselor will find something they don’t like after this

God damn I'm excited! Hopefully we get some long-deserved Cardassian love here!

Great work as always! Quite the slaughter there at the end in New Gaul, what a blunder to hand the entire fleet away! I'm suprised at how ineffective the klingon cloak is, the fact that they weren't able to slip out of such a loose encirclement is quite surprising, there was an incredible amount of space to cover for the dominion and with their success makes the klingon cloak seen borderline strategically useless!

I like the Sartan. It really reminds me of the Saber but with Cardassian aesthetics. Sad to see K’Chang go but a little refreshing to see the “bad guys” notch a win.

Klingons should have used orbital defenses, and had siege weapons on the planet; nothing like 500 torpedoes flying up at you from the surface to say "Kapla" to the cardassians

The Cardassian fleet versatility gives them a unique edge against the Klingons that the Dominion and even the federation lack. The Klingon Brel working in wings combined with Vorcha's was a deadly combination against Dominion and federation fleets, the Dominion would often commit their fighters and leave only a few ships to defend their cruisers, this leave them extremely vulnerable to Brel raids as the cruisers don't have the rate of fire or arc's of fire to deal with Brel groups. While I've made fun of the Galor class before, it's blend of: manoeuvrability, shield strength, speed to produce and its arc's of fire makes it a good counter to Brel wings, the numbers which Galors are fielded in makes them a good counter to Vorcha's. The Dominion is a great counter to the Federation who practice a more linear style of naval warfare, but the dominion falls short when it comes to fighting the Klingons. The Cardassians and their fleet versatility works wonders against the Klingons, not only that but they're actually motivated to fight out of vengeance. Since the Battle of sector 73 epsilon, the Carassians have used the experience from their losses to modify their fleet to better face the Klingons; the dominion lacks the motivation and past experience to effectively fight them.

With these Tactics i have new found respect for The Cardasians.

Is the encirclement as a whole the trek version of Dunkirk or is it Kursk. Or will it end up being Leningrad or even something like vurdun

With space as vast as it is, I don't see how the Klingons just didn't go into cloak and warp out of the pocket in mass back to Federation lines.

How do you "encircle" a fleet of ships traveling at warp speed? And a klingon fleet at that, who all can just cloak and f*ck off to all sides of the compass?

Oh my, here the old adage that a savage beast is never more ferocious than when it is cornered is never true than for the defenders of the vaultera pocket as chang's champions give their lives to savage and delay the enemy's advance against the stranded Klingon's fleets in the pocket. A sacrifice, when combined with the old wisdom of the best offense is the best defence gains them enough time to be rescued by a well timed and coordinated joint offensive. As both sides make each other pay in blood for every victory gained as the war as both sides become adrift in a sea of endless bloodshed.

We've knock out 2 of the 6 Dominion Shipyards in the war with a third about to go cutting 50 percent of the Dominion production plus leaning to the Breen there secert ally while the Federation since 2373 has been gearing up for total war as production up to 500 percent While look forward to a Spacedock defense battle base with say 200 Runabouts and means of building Starships base on the Terran Rebellion then a Spacedock could build Defiants as lightly crewed vessels to bolster or replenish defenses along with squadrons of Runabouts plus Shuttles engage the attack ships as the Spacedock led by a veteran Starfleet commander Admiral Chekov

Silly Klingons, not using their cloaking technology to simply disperse and evaporate into the emptiness of space. All 600 ships could cloak, and then go in 600 different directions, only to join up at a predetermined place and time.
