Dio Brando They could be easily sink by airstrike too, no matter how fast they are. All battleships are outdated when aircraft carriers rule the sea.

He damaged the Repulse to slow her down and make her an easier target from the G3Ms, considering that the two Renown class vessels are battlecruisers it makes sense.
