ah yes Battlestations Pacific probably the 4th video game that further dragged me down the WWII rabbit hole after Heroes of The Pacific, Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII & Battlestations Midway.
Heroes of The Pacific played such a pivotal role in building my interests, still play it to this day, such a gem. Always cool to see other people who also appreciate it!
What I dont get is the addition of WoWs voicelines like "Enemy Destroyer detected!" Or "We sunk an enemy battleship!" When the ingame voicelines were just fine and imo I much prefer rather than just World of Warships in a different game.
Had a quick session with this mod, most fun I had with battlestations in a long time. There’s a sub mod made by Haruna Line for Kantai Kessen that adds realistic turret rotation speeds and firing range for the ships.
grew up playing this game series, and i still remember all the exploits online to spam PT boats lol, would be amazing if the mod allowed for some type of online gameplay
I loved this game played it on pc a lot but the games for windows live wouldn’t work anymore and I had to uninstall it but I have it on the Xbox one lol
What happens if battlestations Pacific doesn’t work after downloading it from humble I tried getting up and running but the windows keeps on closing it
Anyone who plays BSP nowadays, question for you, is it still possible to play BSP multiplayer in 2024 on Windows 11? Everything's so out of place or discontinued, if anyone knows, please inform.
Mods will typically have instructions on how to install, just look for instructions on the mod page. You will need winrar or 7zip to unzip the mod file but that already sounds a lot more involved than it actually is. Good luck!
Naval Art currently on the Carrier Testing where everyone go out and try now. And they use RTS CVs. But with some tweaks. This makes the CVs actually more fun to play and don’t feel OP. How? You asked. Naval Art manage to fix all CV issues in a Open Beta Test. 1) CV interaction with Ships. CVs have limited Aircrafts based on the amount of hangers they have and amount of Aircrafts you placed in. These Aircrafts can be customized and have multiple roles. Fighters, Bombers, TRP Bomers, Recon and Display. They also able to customized Flight Formations to have more aircrafts in squadrons or some bonus stats for aircrafts. Attacking enemy ships are pretty much classic WOWs RTS style which no manual drop yet. You have to nursing your squadrons to reserve aircrafts as much as possible. 2) AA vs Aircrafts. The main feature of AA in Naval Art is that Dual Purpose guns able to use as AA guns. Means any secondaries that are multipurpose or even Main Battery can shoot down planes. These works similar how Flak works in our current CVs. But more effective at doing it. CVs have to watch out for it. All modules can be destroyed. Yes, even Range Finders. Which affect your gun accuracy. Means any shot you hit the target you can garantee to damage something and not felt like try to drop enemy HP to zero. Somehow Naval Arts makes fighting ships feels fun. Yes, it doesn’t sound fair on the receiving end but hey, just don’t get hit. Good thing about Naval Art is that there’s no flooding or fire damages. Means Citadel and Modules are the ones that do a lot of damage. CVs torpedoes can citadel a warships if they got hit too many times. In conclusion, Naval Art manage to make CV more enjoyable to play as and play against.
As stated in the video you can get a bundle that includes both Midway and Pacific through Humble Bundle. That wil give you a key that you can reedem on steam and install it on your PC.
Wow, totally forgot about this mod. I still have the v0.6 version of the old Remaster mod installed on my steam deck. I wonder whether those new effects added in the full release would affect the game's performance on the Deck.
I saw someone played this game with real distance mod which player can hardly see enemy battleship at the horizon when firing at it, I want that mod but couldn't find it for a long time, anyone can help? Thanks!
