Thanks for the video man, this universe needs more lore videos and I'm looking forward to seeing more content from you. It's straightforward and watching you improve over time and diving deep into interesting stories like this is greatly appreciated.
I am happy I could help bring a bit more lore to the public. I am doing my best on these projects and it really feels good to have folks say nice things about my work.
I was asked a few months ago what was my favorite clan and why. so i did some research and I feel like if i had to be a clanner for the rest of my days it would a diamond shark. Also trying to expand battle tech knowledge I figured most people wouldn't know much about a reserve clan in the clan invasion. Thanks for watching!
The MiteyPirate Now I’ve gotta ask why them? Merchant focused? Not as warlike? I enjoy your take on the lore and would enjoy hearing your reasons if you’d care to. And do you prefer Diamond Shark or Sea Fox? Also didn’t put it in the first comment but I really enjoyed the video and take as much time as you need 👍
@@TheMiteyPirate I got this whole plot idea for the HSB Battletech game if I can figure out how to mod it in, involving Clan Diamond Shark's merchants running CIA style fronts in periphery space as a plan B to the Dragoons. Sort of like Battletech meets Lord of War.
Just learning about Battletech from Prof. Tex from the BPL, critical rocket and now you. hope this wonderful Universe gets the recognition it deserves. But all the sources seem even more fragmented than Geedubs 40k on its retcon rampage.
and that is one of the beautiful things about the setting is that everyone i meet that likes tech has something to share about it i didnt know it. the way to help understand it is to pick a year (3050 for most) and work your way forward or backwards good luck out there.
19:46 I think this is an editing error, you seem to go from talking about Clan Coyote's Khan being butt hurt to the other half of the 'shark eatting a seafox' story?
I think just practicing the script to avoid stumbling, and adding some emphasis to sentences rather than reading the monotone would really help with the videos
