You should come down to Bowmen Gray stadium, they do not have late models but they sportsman cars which are like LMS but have a 602 crate motor. I know lots of drivers that would be willing to let you come down and drive there stuff. There is also a very high fan attendance there, usually around 10000-15000 people.
That's the 13's family's backyard. His dad (Todd Kelly) raced and won at Florence for decades. 3/10ths is still a chunk but if he'd be able to do it anywhere, its his home track where he has to have a HUGE notebook on.
Yeah I heard he was local later on. I don't think he ever won a late model race before that weekend though. Good on him. Cars like that don't come around often. So capitalizing and winning both races was huge
Hey! Long time viewer here! I would love to see a video or hear what you have for gear to make these videos. I’m helping a family member this year with their RU-vid and love seeing what works for other teams. My biggest question is what do you use to get your team radio chatter? I plan on using a scanner and cheap digital recorder with a 3.5mm aux jack. Thank you for the inspiration!

First, the chrome wheels are a cool look. Second, I understand the deal with Dominion. As a fan, I didn't enjoy the racing. Cars got too strung out for me. I grew up going to Southside, Old Dominion, SoBo, Langley and Orange County. I'm looking forward to seeing how they fix up SouthHampton.
I just raced my first v8 any at race at dominion, was definitely out gunned w cars but I drove the wheels off my car to a 2nd place finish. I think that is going to be a class to watch because I am gonna be running hard all year long
