Another play with the king jack is to bet quarter pot or smaller on the river to possibly induce a raise...the ace on the river may have given u top two pair, and he may have raised for value. It really depends if he is capable of it; if ur in the lower stakes with bad players then betting a bigger bet to get called is the way to go.

Really great analysis! I love learning from better players. My question is on min 33 you say there was value missed by checking river. What hands do you see calling a river bet?
@brianfloyd2279
@brianfloyd2279 Год назад
I also think in the J8 hand u could've realized ur equity and called as long as the players behind u won't raise...and, most importantly, will he pay off a big river bet if u make ur hand. It does suck being in that relative position. Ur analysis is solid, and as always, being an arm chair QB on Monday is much easier than being in the moment! 😂 Solid plays all around.

I thought just calling with TT on a Q4T rainbow board was a big mistake, which did end up with Jakov losing the hand.

Why is is a good fold on the last hand? I count about 70 combos of an 8 and 52 combos of busted spade plus open ended straights. If he’s betting $1.5k into $900 he needs to be right 38% and he’s right 52/122 times. I think it’s a call even with the Q of ♠️ in your hand. Plus if you add 9,10 to his bluffing range it’s more of a call. Am I missing something? Would love the feedback, thanks!

Over all very nice analyses , but too bays on 24:45 the Kd2d2h6d board , he leads because all his trips, all his weak flush, needs protection , and he kind blocked bet you with air that bink his equity on the river , also if he slow play 22,33,44,55,66,77,88,99 pre flop he will have lots of boats on the river of paired boards, next time you see a weak lead go bananas with two napkins raise 3x pots like Adamo does , just not against me or Northeaster people if they take lead (donk lead) most of time is 2 pair plus.

Hey boss, so my thing about me is that I am a beast at 6max nl 50 cash games, but whenever I join a dead table and it’s head up I never play, even if it’s against a fish, because I am really not confident in my heads up game. 6 max I am confident, but heads up I won’t even play against a fish. Would becoming proficient at heads up help my 6 max game? Because I know durr is a heads up player(I play like dwan, super aggressive, put Fedor in the mix) and those cats are really good at 9 person games. Thanks again brother!

i dont know if you do online poker, but if you are only looking to build up confidence i find that the low stakes spin&go's is a great way to go about it to get a massive amount of hands in vs very different kinds of players. at least it helps me not get as worked up because i'll have been in that/similar spots countless times before. obviously very many opponents will be clueless and just punting, but nonetheless its instant games and soooo many hands played. the ones i play start w 3 players so a bit of variation there as well!

ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Mkpd9kWbNnc.html I would think Landon should only be folding if be believes his overcards are no good and has no way to extract extra value on the river when making the straight. Having position should be enough to call most of the time though.

it definitely can mean that. what i have found though is that i will sometimes react the exact same when a funky draw happens and i have nothing, as i do when i draw the nuts - just because i enjoy seeing the "rare scenario" more than drawing/not drawing what i need... so it can be a trap as well!

I don't like raising in the SB with KT. We don't want to bloat the pot out of position with a marginal hand. Am I wrong? Not claiming to be better than Lexi.

Personally I think it's ok to squeeze and try to take the pot down because the limper has capped himself most likely, and we don't want to be limping pots out of position with a hand like K10o that flops mediocre.

He has calmed down quite a bit. If you played with him a few years ago he was much more aggressive and splashed around more. A lot of people still put him in that category, although he does still blast off from time to time.
