9.50 - Siki kicked Carpentier in the groin with his left foot = disqualification .referee was correct !.HOWEVER, Carpentier's repeated deliberate butting should of disqualification him earlier, right ?
Right you are. Carpentier barely threw a punch in the 5th round. Instead he used his head as a battering ram and kept plowing into Siki's face. As far as I'm concerned, anything that Siki did after that qualifies as self defense. It's clear that Carpentier flurry early in the 4th was his last shot and when he didn't take Siki out there was nothing left (the announcer also said that Carpentier broke his hand in that round). Glad the judges stepped in and reversed the decision.
