Batumi Tbilisi train ($15). Economy class seat. Thrifty backpacking 

I am taking a train from Batumi, Georgia to Tbilisi for $15 for an economy class seat.
I was able to buy the ticket in advance using this website

You gotta book in advance, otherwise you will be left without a ticket.
You can choose a place in advance, and I totally recommend you do this.
The trip took a little more than 5 hours and felt very comfortable. Wi-fi sucked though.
