Because then, Javicia Leslie / Ryan Wilder would always play the second fiddle. The whole show was written around Kate Kane. Kate 2.0 would dominate everything, especially since Wallis Day is able to use Mimic and act more natural - other than Ruby Rose, she comes of as a human. That said, I don't think the writers could handle 2 Batwomen, they're unable to even get ONE right.

@@Valkyreon I think making Kate batwoman again would be a disservice to Ryan’s character I think there are many ways the character could return if they can’t handle more than one story then the problem is the writing because time and time again it has been done look at teen wolf main character was Scott and his story but we still were able to love stiles and Lydia, with vampire diaries we got the main ones Elena and Damon but we had Bonnie and her story, we had Caroline we had the original family klaus elijah rebeka etc we had Tyler and his struggles I mean etc, character development is important and prevents it from becoming boring and redundant

One of the good things about CW is, they always bring major characters back. But even if she is gone for good, hiring an actress to give Kate a proper send off, is a thousand times better than off screening it. We don't know under what conditions Wallis agreed. There mir still be the possibility that she doesn't wanted to take a leading role or has something else planned. But they did an amazing job. Others would have just finished it by having the plain crash being her death

And that was just an idea why she left, cause people always go straight away blaming the producers and writers, even if an actor wanted to leave. But yeah, she had great chemistry with everyone. The CW decided to tell a Batwoman story, so of course, this attracts comic fans. And from the beginning, the writers failed to tell a compelling story or even deliver on that hero part. They didn't really go into who Batwoman was or who she want to be, they just put a wig on Batman, didn't even give Kate character development or struggles and used the characters for Real Life social commentary. Which is fine by itself, but the very moment you twist established characters and franchises like that, you have to endure that people dislike it.

Wallis appreciates the roles she gets, Ruby left because she enjoyed the short filming schedules for movies Tv role's for Ruby were short and never lead roles, she did more support cast movies including a Jason Stathom movie (Meg) and a John Wick movie before taking on the leading tv role of Batwoman, filming was too long (9 months a year) and decided she didnt like it, and used the allergic reaction excuse to jump ship and got a movie before the Batwoman exit doors had closed behind her Shes now done 2 movies since leaving batwoman, both of which put her in support cast with violent characters, her first post batwoman film was about a violent former military bodyguard (sound familiar, thats because Batwoman was principally the same thing, protecting Gotham as a bodyguard)

Apparently it's because of a hostile toxic work environment in the Batwoman filming days. Ruby Rose said everyone treated her badly for some reason, Luke's actor said the opposite, that Ruby acted like a tyrant all the time, arrived late at the filming days and etc. And instead of just keep using Kate under Wallis Day aka the fandom's #1 best option to play the character, they opted to create a diversity oc for the sake of they can do it just because.

Get used to. Ruby Rose left the show, and despite saying she would love to return (asked by the interviewer, not something she said by herself), the show's producers went by a recast (despite early on saying they wouldn't do that).

I do like it! But... it was a journey. At first, I expected to see a solid superhero adaptation with deeper morals, world building, great actions scenes and skillfull storytelling. My hopes were crushed, every single episode. But then, I changed my perspective. To enjoy the show, all you need to do is... watch it as a PARODY of a Superhero story. Suddenly, you'll have the time of your life! "We're an army of Soldiers and have surrounded Batwoman! Shoot her! Woah, the Batsuit is bulletproof, we can't hurt her! If only there was an uncovered part around her mouth, that we could shoot to instantly kill her!" "I'm Batwoman. I'm the hero of this story. Watch me, as I let my insane, murderous sister escape every other episode, so that she can kill and maim more people! Of course, I will only do that until she reconnects with her sanity and starts to care about me - then I'll betray her, lock her up or at some point, let her die!" "Hi there, I'm Alice! Yes, I'm the insane, deranged criminal who is supposed to be the villain of this show. Unfortunately, I'm played by a skilled actress - other than the hero of this show. Remember cwverse tv shows are full of supporting Dc heroes and make them the main DC heroes and leader of justice league rather than superman. Dceu are full of main heroes taking the lead. So bringing batman in cwverse in batwoman is impossible. Cameo as Bruce Wayne would work enough in cw.

He did bring money with him for the ransom but when he arrived, he lost his wife first, then when the little girls attempt to leave the kidnappers' layer, one of the kidnappers shot Beth in the back while Kate was able to get away. Then the kidappers were fought by Jacob Kane and 20 year old bruce (who just arrived in the scene dressed like a ninja and Jacob and Kate were the only ones who recognized him). After the crime scene was over, Jacob and Kate went to Bruce's mansion he took care of Kate as best as he can, when Bruce leaves to get enough training and pain controlling strategies, Kate attends to military school. Kate does well in attending in the military school until sometime in Bruce's first half a decade of being batman when she was expelled. When Kate and Jacob (promoted as a GCPD cop) were hanging out in a restaurant thinking of what she can do now that she was expelled, Jacob stepped out for a moment to give a man a ticket for speeding but that guy shot and killed Jacob and Kate saw it all happen across the street and the killer noticed her and tried to kill her but then Batman arrived just in time to save her and then he took her to his cave, and Kate becomes Batwoman. But the plan was foiled when Batwoman shows up to help Batman fight. I hope that Matt Reeves, Robert Pattinson, Wallis Day, and Zach Woods will see and like this idea. And Here is my plot for the third #MattReeves #batman film. it can be based on the #BatmanArkhamAsylum game. The film has a demolition man like beginning where joker was the cause of a war between joker fans and a bunch of fake batmen and batwomen and then batman, batwoman and robin showed up to stop the war and batman takes joker to Arkham Asylum,. But it turns out that the joker was using the war to get batman's attention and joker wanted to go to Arkham to proceed with his Arkham plan that he had in his so called mind. While Batman is part of joker's Arkham game, #Batwoman and #robin were on a #blackmask and #professorpyg and batgirl joins them to help them. And the film ends with the 4 heroes becoming the bat family and they say in oath, WE ARE VENGEANCE, WE ARE THE KNIGHTS, WE ARE THE BAT-FAMILY. And as for Kristen Stewart as DCEU's batwoman, she can appear in a birds of prey as a better leader for the team than Harley, she can also appear in the Gotham City sirens as the hero who tracks and takes down the 3 evil ladies, and she can appear in a DCEU bat family film where the team is protecting gotham from an arkham breakout caused by Hugo strange played John Goodman and black mask 2.0 aka Dr Jeremiah Arkham played by Jason Clarke.

Look I wanted her to stay because Ryan kind of sucks as Batwoman she made multiple mistakes after another. She left Alice for dead after she saved her. The fact that she thinks she will never see her again is stupid. You need a villain around that can be bad and good when it counts
