I don't see this lasting long-term. They'll probably split the channels at some point and leave this one to uplaod covers, original music, and miscellaneous archives

@@pumpkincoffee it's not unusual for for couple to roleplay as twins and maybe even play as twin characters in games, but this is such a big platform and an actual job that can get very hectic. Not even indie vtuber roles. I don't realistically feel it's a couple, but real twins. Like me. For the record, I'm a bi girl and have a gf, I'd be more comfortable working with my twin than my gf as work pressure is not healthy for any relationship. Whether lovers or family, only exception is a close healthy twin relationship as you'll be able to brave any issues without damaging relationships cause we had our whole life to figure out what works and what doesn't. Spending almost 24/7 per day together since birth. No relationship comes close to a twin with healthy synergy for each other. This is why a lot of close twins are teased as being lovers because we have the same *emotional* intimacy as one would have with their partner but this relationship had our whole life to brew and nurture with no reservations of hidden past or secrets that can come up later. A close twin relationship is vastly different from sibling relationship or lover relationship, it's the halfway point between the two relationships and very unique. You have to be a twin or parent of a close twin to fully appreciate the sacred bond. Otherwise you are just an outsider looking in with speculations without any idea how this unique and rare relationship dynamics work.

I think it was more like they tried their audition as double to begin with, and got accepted and Hololive just went with it

They also streamed togther as siblings on their previous channel. Plausible chance they're actual sisters.
