hey everyone, this is a job we do almost every year. the red pine is in decline and every year we go in to remove what has died. having this baumalight head makes it safer but faster as well. this really shows you what it can do in a stand of pine like this. enjoy!

Awesome video Kev! Sure makes me want to run a set up like that to thin my red pines. I know you can rent skid steers from many places but have you ever seen anywhere that rents feller buncher heads like that?

Good afternoon kev beautiful day in the 709 , iiiiii iiiii out feeding my moose herds early this morning with over size cabbage 🥬 and cattle corn 🌽. Had DEMO SPLIT FORCE drop in use it for splitting over size cabbage 🥬. Work out 💪 great 👍 for into a cabbage 🥬 patch for sure kev . 😊

Ya it does recover quick but does suck the hyd power from the machine while that happens. Give and take. Baumalight did well on this head

G day Kevin I don't understand why so many are dead, they weren't real thick were they?? Do those small logs get shredded then? What are buckthorns? Thanks

Hey Don. Red pine can get a disease that is passed through the root systems and just starts killing them slowly. That's why you see patches in the drone footage. Everything will be chipped and spread on his trails on the property. Buckthorn is a invasive bush that was brought here to make fence rows like most stuff it has turned into a bad idea. Really hard to control in a woodlot.
