Agree. Look how much space they loose in the inside storage area. Why not use a forklift with the same weight class with a turnable chair.

Yes it could. Read my comment above. It's not all about the machine itself. It's how the logistics work at 90 % and the last 10 % should be the forklift. Fuel afficient, enviroment friendly and time saving. Basic logistics and transport management. I say this because that timber yard is bigger than the timber yard I work at and we have alot more timber here. Maybe because of the logistics works a Little bit better here. And we moving it by train, trucks and ships coming in and out everyday. If we used a Baumann sideloader like that the company would go bankrupt.

Wristler Randsom well but some companys just dont have the space for the logistics or big halls which you could enter with a normal forklift and this thing is also used by many small companies who need it cause there doors are to small to handle the wood sideways with an forklift

I see what you are saying and I agree. But I can't really agree about the video above. But who am I to say how things should work. My brain hurts just looking how they doing it haha..
