Garmisch PartenKirchen is amazing! In the south of Germany are the mountains, lakes castles and many more attractions of the Bavarian Alps.

In our 10 Days traveling with my van Brutus our highlight definatly was our 5 days in the Bavarian Alps. We really wanted to visit Garmisch Partenkirchen and we where not disappointed. We had a beautifull day where we could see the amazing sharp ridges of the Zugspitze and Waxenstein. With the cable car we went up to the Top of Germany for 61 euros, worth every penny! You can stay on the platform, but you can also do short and long hikes from here.
If you want to stay a bit lower the Eibsee and Riessersee are definatly worth a visit. Make sure to bring your camera as the iconic mountains make a beautiful scenery.
The Eibsee is really populair under tourists so I definatly recommend going early if you want to experience the beautifull nature in peace. This actually counts for all the highlights in Garmisch Partenkirchen as it is very populair region.
