Wow. This was his "high-school" band. I'm almost in high-school, I play the guitar, this makes me want to start a band with my buddy, he plays drums...

DO IT! If you've got a mate who plays drums, then you're set to go! I tried forming a band before high school, but gave up in the end 'cause no one I knew played, or liked the right music/instrument... : P (Right now - in highschool - I accidentally got into a band and we play Rise Against type melodic-punk with Indie elements.) It's really worth it if you're determined enough. ; )
