I cant listen enough of this song. As a child, I remember the lead guitarist being from Hager Fekir Theater. Then, they had this popular song (ጀግና የጀግና ልጅ አኩሪ ታራክ ያለኝ ለሀገሬ የምሞት....) the melody still reverberates in my mind. Wonderful musicians!
There is a sudanese song with the same melody and music called “Azza fe Hawak” by Khalil Farah. He sang it back in upon the revolution of 1924 in Khartoum. You can RU-vid it and enjoy the original version although I have enjoyed this video as well.
Thank you for your amazing info. It was a wonderful melody. I like such Sudanese melodies. This song is the most mesmerizing music for Ethiopian audience.

First time I see the video version of it. Great song great voice. I wanted to hear the last part tho, the ending that goes like bye bye dehna hugni keteleyeshign bey dehna hugn... Too bad the video is cut short prematurely.
