Dolls and Soldiers debuted at Bayer Ballet’s Summer Intensive (2018). Dancers, ages 9-10 years old, demonstrate first year of Vaganova training following graduation from the Pre-Ballet Division.

Founded in 2005, Bayer Ballet - Vaganova Center of Excellence has quickly established itself as a reputable dance institution in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Our goal is to make the classical discipline of ballet accessible to new generations, preserve the traditions of Vaganova, and contribute enriching cultural experiences within our community. The Academy has received international recognition as “Outstanding School” by YAGP (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021), Grand Prix (2020), participation in Prix de Lausanne & YoungArts, highest awards at such competitions as World Ballet Competition, and through graduates who have received professional contracts at major ballet companies.
