If you watch his play in the NCAA's, there's definitely some Luka in his playing style; the herky jerky dribble-drive moves, the turnarounds, the effortless shots from long range. But keep in mind that there are plenty of players making a living in China or Croatia who once dominated the college world but couldn't make it in the NBA where EVERYONE is fast, strong, and athletic. (See: Jimmery Ferdette) If Baylor can develop into anything even remotely resembling Luka, I will just hand the GOAT GM title to Brad and call it a day. He's been such a great GM so far. If he can steal us another Luka at 30? Give him the lifetime position.

@@Ironfangzu I agree ☝️ 1000% on that. I see some Luka in him I think they stole him at 30 but part of me was trolling 😂 NBA is a completely different beast. But i love his game. Time will tell.

I’d say he’s more like Cris Mullin play style (not talent)I don’t think he’ll handle a ton of P&R in the NBA.

His ball handling savvy, setback game and fade game, and use of his body download does give me luka vibes for real.. I won't lie dog...He's also more athletic and fleet of foot than luka. But his ball handling playmaking ability to create separation off his bag is impressive....

He also reminds me of Chris mullin.... I see a lot of Luka/Mullin in his game

He has few obvious weaknesses. Payton Pritchard can shoot the three and is a decent driver, passer and defender but he is obviously NBA short at 6 foot. Baylor at 6 foot 8 wing span and 6 6 height can defend against a Luca D. in the finals and has the skills Payton has.

His bag does have so luka for sure with the step backs and fades...he's faster and more athletic than luka...not as good of a passer playermkaer, but a good one with good vision

My hope is that Baylor is good enough, and his game is mature enough, that you could throw him onto most NBA teams and he would start to have an impact. On the Celtics, he will be behind not only the starting 5 but guys like Hauser, Pritchard, and other more established Celtics bench players. So it will be hard to find him playing time on this team. What I am really hoping for is that he is such a good shooter that he's on Hauser's level. There are nights when Hauser is not hitting and sometimes they bring in Mihailik, and he can't hit either. So I guess I am hoping that Baylor is good enough to take Mihailik's spot and get more playing time.

There are a bunch of minutes available through the regular season. If Baylor is ready the minutes will be there.

@@Ironfangzu I'l be honest, I think he has more to offer than Hauser and Hauser was really good for the Celtics, including defensively. At 9 rebounds(!) a game and a far better passer, I can see him getting on the floor ahead of Hauser and maybe Pritchard as well.
