This woman, Kim Mulkey, has single handedly changed the face of women's basketball at Baylor. The program was dead in the water long before her arrival with only a couple of AIAW tournament appearances in the late 1970s and only a few WNIT appearances to show for it, with 0 NCAA tourney appearances, but boy oh boy look at them NOW. I am very impressed with her work ethic, the way she has transformed a moribund program into one of the NCAA's elite programs. I love her fashion sense, and I am so highly impressed. She is the best coach Baylor (and anyone else) can ask for, bar none. She is very smart, having been a valedictorian in high school, and a great player and assistant coach at Louisiana Tech under Sonja Hogg and Leon Barmore.
After watching this you see why Coach Mulkey went back home to Louisiana her heart and soul is there I hope she can bring LSU women's basketball back to dominance.
Kim Mulkey one of my crushes as a kid lol... Couldn't get over the little girl with pigtails that would just run up and down the court! Happy for all she's getting
I have Mulkey bloodlines through my dad's/father David clingmon Dentons side. One of my 5 th/great grandparents were Charles Duncan and his wife Lurhana Mulkey who were some of the first tennessee settlers to put down roots by 1773 in boones creek community which is located just outside of modern day town of johnson city,tn.
