Those scenes makes a man cry..................R.I.P My favourite Waifu: Bayonetta/Cereza 2009 to 2022. She couldn't enjoy Halloween and she didn't make it to watch the whole World Cup Qatar 2022 just like Queen Elizabeth's England National Football Team😭😭😭😭😭☹☹☹☹☹☹ Borned: December 19th, 1411 Death: October 28th 2022
I like how Bayonetta couldn't save a single alternate version of Jeanne and herself. I get that good stories should have stakes but come on, you think she could've saved at least one.
To those who don't know, Luka is a Faerie that's why whenever he transforms, he appears to be a druid-like werewolf man with two sets of butterfly wings. Faeries are extinct and unlike Lumens and Umbras, who were tied with Paradiso and Inferno, Faeries are tied to the Multiverse that's why whenever a version of themselves dies, the other versions is affected. So, we can say that Bayonneta is safe in Inferno because she has a Faerie husband who will protect her from demons.
@@Nosretep Well, it's pretty much possible, she has at least one the following criteria to become infernal: 1. Died in unfortunate circumstances 2. Fallen angel
@@sunset_orange169 I cried too, I can't believe she just died so I went to invest on every Bayonneta-topic websites and eventually found out that she is really safe in Inferno.
I agreed, like demon like the taste of angel best, madame Butterfly have any one else better at that job than bayonetta? And also, only three bayo and three jeanne contract with her i believes, the rest of them work with other demons
fr a literal yassified aqua pet Jeff bezos killed Jeanne, I literally had to pause the game and stare at the wall for like 5 minutes after that happened 💀
Love how they introduce all these cool unique character designs and kill literally all of them off. Games should have stakes but the stakes should never be the entire cast
@@Shinepie. Japanese Bayo was the only one with some sort of Justice cause you got to play as her in her own extended boss battle, Chinese Bayo got fucking destroyed tho 😂
I presumed the french bayonetta’s backstory: Balder gave rosa his monocle before Rosa managed to escape the war and flee to france with baby cereza and there cereza was raised and trained by her mother in france Rodan in this universe probably is the same bartneder guy we know in the original universe but i imagine him being a tailor ( because french bayonetta’s weapon is a hat, staff, and cape )
It would be sort of cool if the next games took place entirely in their own universe's to we get a little more backstory and knowledge of these Bayonetta's
I have a feeling that this won’t be the last we’ve seen of Bayonetta, or at least I hope so. Viola is cool and all, but I don’t think she should replace the Bayonetta that we’ve grown to love.
@@leonlai8270 well... Bayonetta IS the best friend of the God of time, it would be relatively easy for him to pull her the microsecond before everyone thought she died and save her, though he said himself that it would take a while for him to be able to return. He's a baby right now.
Bayonetta always acted like royalty, would've loved to see her as actual royalty and what she does with all that gold Also would've loved to see more of Japanese Bayonetta
@@TerminatorGundam300 a smart detail is that the egyptian bayo is really shy and mirrors cereza from the firt game. The way i see it i think this universe is what would happen had she never learned to be brave while also being egyptian
@@salemtheastra Good point, still so much there could've been to see the stories of each version of her. I seriously hope they're all okay after the game.....
First 2 games: Anything tries to catch or grab bayonetta or Jeanne, they go into witch time or summon a demon to eat the hell out of their opponent. Bayonetta 3: Gets grabbed like a noob and fucking dies!
Me: "You can't expect us to still care about them after killing a character 8 times in a single game." Me, after the fifth Bayo death: "Please... No more... "
That's the huge issue with the powerscale in Bayonetta 3. In the past games it made sense because Bayonetta rarely ever even met her match. And when she did, she went all out. Like using almost all her demons on Balder and performing the most difficult summons on Jubileus and Aesir. In Bayonetta 3 Bayonetta struggles a lot in every chapter with huge stakes yet completely inconsistently uses her overpowered abilities depending on whether the plot wants her to win or lose.
Bayonetta : Litteraly goes to hell to save Jeanne. Has a rivalry/friendship that lasted 500 years. In the 3rd game's timeline, survived the witch hunts with Jeanne and lived 500 years with her. Almost crying in Bayonetta 2 when Jeanne almost dies (for comparison she just said "mommy" when her mother died before her eyes for real). In Bayonetta 3, found the strength to kill the Rosa variant but was _unable to kill even an alternate version of Jeanne_ . Jeanne's last words before dying : "Cereza". Also Bayonetta : ends up with Luka
exactly, it felt so forced. and bayonetta having a kid is out of character. i am not a fan of their characterization in this game. i miss the old cocky bayonetta
Bayonetta literally dodged bullets from behind her her bayo 2, from someone who can make their time go faster and your telling me she and Jeanne just get stabbed from behind by normal people or monsters?
Wow you guys believe Witch time is a time hax? Kamiya literally say its a statistic amp and its not really time stop. It just slow from your prespective alone, Bayo 1 guide even says Witch time basically improve your 5 sense. In a words Witch time ain't time stop/slow but statistics amp for user.
You know what I just realized, Viola’s Cheshire is Luka and I know this might be crazy but think about it, when she was transforming, she said “need a little help here, daddy.” Which makes it a bit more wholesome since she has her father by her side, maybe she gets bayonetta as a weapon if this continues in the future.
its bc Luka is a fae, so viola also gets fae powers. It says Cheshire is ~500 years old so it couldn't be luka, but Cheshire obviously has a connection to bayonetta because bayonetta is also ~500 years old. My theory is that when little cereza in the story book goes to the Avalon forest (where the faes are from), her normal plush gets possessed by bayonettas version Cait Sidhe, which is a fairy cat that steals the souls of the dead.
So what do they do to our Bayonetta? Nerf her witch time, let her stand there and shoot while watching them dead, doesn’t even do to help Egyptian Jeanne getting out of that Homunculi, and practically the weakest of herself.
Wow I can't believe they made the last game about her, presumably, so fucking miserable. I know people see the lore as something to be very cheesy anyway but damn they played my girl dirty in this one. I hope it's not gonna be the last game in the series
It's not the last game actually. There is B4 being already planned by Kamiya. Besides, Bayonneta (Cereza) is technically still alive because her soul is in Inferno, wandering with Luka and Jeanne.
@@jayrino4451 thanks...i was worried about the same cycle of tragedy with Mother and father dies...like Balder and Rosa. i hope Balder resurrect as a good person and controling the angels. i hope in case of Angels transformations...platinum games creates angelic chaints for Balder....and in his case....he can use the Angel Follower(the counterpart of Demon Slave). Balder and Rosa fighting together to save Bayonetta, Jeanne and Luka and helping her granddaughter Viola.
@@rodrigocantarino4751 I think that's not possible. Rosa and Balder is already gone, like their soul doesn't exist anymore. You see, when Sage and Umbra dies, they go to the realm they strongly tied up. Balder didn't go to Paradiso because his spirit perished along with Loptr, and Rosa is already absorbed by demons. Even though Bayonetta is in Inferno, she has Luka to protect her. Remember, Luka followed her soul in Inferno probably because he wants to protect her until he finds a way to bring themselves back to the world of living which is possible because he is a powerful Faerie.
I think just Luka and cereza still in inferno but not Jeanne cus she has been kill by the scientist and she corrupt like other multiverse bayo. So i think this is a goodbye for Jeanne 🤧
2 of them could have been saved without killing them. Rosa and Blonde Bayo, just get the bug off. And maybe even Egyptian Jeanne too. Just kill the monster
I can't with Bayo acting like a damsel in distress for half the game. The writing direction for every character is so different compared to the first two Bayonetta games. It's like Bayo herself lost all wit and edge.
yeah sucks that Jeanne went down like such a chump, the entire 1st game she was shown to be close to if not on the same power level as Bayonetta and she just goes down to a backstab from a guy in a pod, at least the alternate version died fighting a giant monster
Jeanne could still be alive just like Enzo's wife is alive again even though she was originally killed. Bayonetta undid a lot of what Singularity did and Jeanne died in the same universe where all the people that came back to life died too. If they are back, there is little reason for Jeanne to be dead as well.
@@o.h.x-9062 they are most likely still alive, when they unfused they were un-summoned like when she unsummons madama butterfly and gomorrah. they also werent holographic, and the other timelines were restored so its most likely that theyre still alive but in their respective timelines
i like how the deaths in the whole series are basically like: Bayo 1: Oh no! Jeanne dies! Luka dies! Balder dies! Just kidding guys! (except Rosa and Balder again) Bayo 2: Oh no! Balder dies! Rosa dies! Wait, we already know that. Bayo 3: Screw you and your feelings 😀
It’s amazing that so many people don’t understand that the beings that killed the variants scaled above the typical bullets that are dodged in this series.
Ah yes, because if I were to see my variant get grabbed by the monster, All I would do is shoot bullets at it and not summon a monster to at least attempt to save them you know...Like in every other case of a Bayonetta game in which we summon demons to off angels and demons or to even prevent them from eating Bayonetta Whole like in the Gammorah fight in 2. The issue is that Bayonetta/Cereza just watches and does NOTHING. Which is the worst thing a protagonist can do in an intense situation. She just watches people die. Imagine if in Bayonnetta 1 She just watches Luka get thrown off a building instead of running to grab him before he goes yeet. Imagine in 2 if she just watches Loki get abducted by the angels. In 3 she just watches others die or actively gets them killed.
Jeanne, Bayonetta and Lucas deaths would be the worst because if there was the next game it wouldn't be the same without them Jeanne is also my queen 👑
Yeah, Jeanne being gone sucks because I'm not sure how Viola is going to carry the story by herself if she has nobody to play off of, I love her, but I think she's a bit to goofy to fly solo just yet and Jeanne would be able help train her since she was heir to the clan
@@masterhand79135 oh yeah, forgot about that, still. Willing to cope and say that they will find some magical way to do it lol. I just don’t see them killing OG bay off completely. I like Viola as a character don’t get me wrong, but Og bay is ya know….Lovely
If they want to kill off Bayo then fine. At least make it more creative rather than all of them getting grabbed fron behind and our Bayo just stand there like an extra.
Cairo Bayonetta literally didn’t even have to die, once Cereza had the chaos gear she could have easily left with Cairo Bayonetta instead of fighting. anticlimactic but still the smarter move
Honestly the Bayo killing was unnecessary. It lost its meaning after the 3rd death, and now they expect us to believe Viola will carry the franchise? I sleep 😴
them dying is fine as long as its justifiable but they way they died here is very stupid and mundane especially jeanne. and this bayonetta is supposed to be powerful because she can do demon slave?? damn
I don’t think this is the last we’ll see of Luka and Cereza. These two have cheated death more times than can be counted. I have a feeling that Violas gonna find herself in deep trouble than out of nowhere Mom and Dad come in to kick some ass.
So much cringe and stupidity is in the plot. Cereza acts like a rookie every time someone dies only to summon a giant afterwards. It takes away any sadness you may have felt because it's being repeat over and over again.
A lot of this death seem to be cost of the main character distracting her alternative self and gesture them so wtf grabs the alternative self and gets killed and this happens how many times and she is shock or is this is her plan to be The One.
One thing I never understood when they are being grabbed is that Bat/Moth Within is a canon ability that is used in Bayo 2. Any time a Bayonetta is grabbed they can just use their version of Bat/Moth Within to escape after activating witch time (so the bats don’t get crushed as soon as they transform)
its really just poor story telling. With the first bayo varient she literally could have used witch time or shot the damn thing, with the second all she had to do was just get tf AWAY FROM THE VOLCANOE or activate witch time when she sa the hand. The egyptian bayo was just a mess cause how did she faint when she was fine in the last chapter and 4th could have been avoided had she just shot the damn things
The only justifiable death was like Egypt bayonetta as good of a character she was I can understand why she passed away, the rest could’ve had more of a difference in death or like not die too
@@lewa3910 They really have no excuse. WHy the hell did she faint during divine summoning with phantasmaranee but she was ontop of queen butterfly JUST FINE. If i could i run a fade with all the staff of bayonetta for egyptian bayos death cause aint no way
So sad watching those Death scenes including nostalgic credits from the first and second Bayonetta game And I Will said this to everyone: Bayonetta is my favourite waifu. Yes I Said it
So they basically pulled a Devil May Cry 4 but instead of forcing nero to wait 11 years to even be near dante again (while still having Vergil alive and well for his return in 5.), they instead give us "Nero without the development" in a timeline game that remotely doesn't make sense (implications should dictate a time loop in which timelines are created in which they didn't actually die at least with my sci-fi knowledge), and nerfs their reaction times to fit the story, all the while putting the gravestone on the Bayonetta series. Let's see if they continue to reboot Bayonetta terribly and then actually bring everything back from the timeline in "Bayonetta 4" Seriously, man, there's no other way they can continue from this. It might be possible they wanted to kill the IP, since it didn't generate much sales and didn't do so well, but I would have just preferred a story in which every timeline's Bayo and Jeanne didn't have to die. Honestly, leaving at least one Jeanne would've evened up the playing field, and would've worked well with a mentor role. Sadly, that seems more and more unlikely. Anyway, rest in peace Jeanne, my beloved :(
@@ihatetheheat4524 not sure. From what I heard, there are verses in certain chapters where you can fight them as well as demons. Me, I rather fight the demons. Not sure if the fights are optional though.
@@ArtMaster09 help I found like 3 or more verses for the angles but the demons only fing once they are just there for random fights it hurts was God hoping bayo was going to summon a Paradiso.
This was truly character assassination at its finest, story was trash, outfits [aside from the alt bayonettas] were trash, the fact that this, 7ft tall, baddie couldn't save any variation of herself or save herself on her own period, was a complete let down.
I dont think so becose to enable the masquerade she probably need the two fan (one for each wing i guess) and she need to fuse with malphas which is already summoned
7:14 that image is in my school vr game as it was used to show how big the explosion that was caused caused by a transporter from terminator salvation rammed full speed with baveriem from just cause 3 and 2 t drive engines from thunder birds are go slam into a mountain attempting to kill the demon Goalius from are world
Ithink they could have made instand of their deaths, each one of the new bayonetta would give an lp record to get their weapons, and at the end they would all come together to fight singularity that way they could all survive and bring anew generation to the game.
The new Bayonetta is Viola so I don't think Cereza is gonna come back but there's still a chance since the multiverse exist but if not then it's Viola now
All this deaths leads me to believe they wanted this to be the last bayonetta game. But leaving it loose enough to do a spinoff with viola just in case.
Jeanne in bayo 1 : throw and ride a fucking missile like if it was nothing and try to blast Isla del sol Jeanne in bayo 3 : insta killed by a wheelchair
I swear to god if the replace bayonetta with this silly excuse for a fashion sense... Thing... I ain't gonna support the damn franchise anymore... Bayonetta set the standard for me.. like queen!!!
There was a few missing here tho 1 was violas sigurd, who we saw die right after whittingham fair bayo 2 was japanese jeanne death, who we saw die right before bayonetta meets phantasmaraneae
Wow they pretty much made a third game to nerf bayonetta and kill her 7 times before finally ending her and then none of these characters can hardly do anything their so weakened vs what they can do 2 games ago against gods lol 😂 this is how you kill a Franchise.
Someone in the production team REALLY has a fetish about making women scream and KILL them. This is not about Bayonetta being badass: someone intentionally tried to deconstruct all that made Bayonetta so impressive previously, by making her suffer and scream to the point of unsettling. This is clear "Woman-Hater" territory and quite frankly, I'm surprised family-oriented NINTENDO approved the script. Maybe Kamiya-san wants to do a gay male hero in his next project, so he permakilled Bayonetta? Who knows...
This new Bayonetta 3 is about sequel or prequel? Are Bayonetta, Jeanne and Luka really dead? And the opening of Bayonetta in Bayo 3(long hair from Bayo 1) also really dead?????
Im so curious, who is Sigurd? How does he know this version of Bayonetta and the Viola we know? Whos this Bayonetta and is she the one with the Whittingham Fair guns who got chopped to bits in the trailer?
