I really like Bayonetta 3 but this game has so much broken stuff in it it's not even on the level of the other games which only had two or three broken things that could be used for pure plats (Kilgore glitch in 1 and there's an argument for Bazillions, weapon swap infinite in 2 + Umbran climax). These are actual game mechanics being used as intended in Bayo 3. Umbran Clock tower grants near infinite witch time (and with proper use can basically be infinite), spin to win on Colour My World costing nothing so you can just spam it over and over, demons in general trivialising encounters once you know their strongest attack that you can spam the most etc. Bayonetta 2 suffered from spam being very strong since it had no combo decay and also had combo score scaling with damage so you weren't penalised for just oneshotting everything with a single move with Takemikezuchi, but Bayonetta 3 takes the cake. Of course you can still do long and flashy combos in 3 and the weapons are awesome, but the game rewards you more for using boring playstyles where you spam your strongest attack as often as you can.
