FUCKIN' RIGHT!!!!! I definitely am. I love them so much I've made a playlist exclusively just for them. I love these guys. Not one bad song. Amazing musicians. Love his voice, the drummer and guitarists are so fkn good. And God don't get me started on the lyrics. Deep ass lyrics on like every song. And poor dude has gone through a lot of shit and struggles and honestly I think it's very similar to me and my life. So relatable fr fr. Like OMFG a lot of their song's lyrics are relatable to me!!! Totally applies to how I either have felt at times of my life or still do more recently. But damn I love these guys. No bad songs, never disappoint. Such an amazing band and I hope to see them play someday!
About this time ten years my fiancé at the time left me for another guy. I was so distraught. I was nothing but good to her. I spent a few weeks doing nothing but drinking and ended up in the hospital for alcohol poisoning. My brother visited me and gave me a copy of this album. When I heard this song it finally helped me to get my shit together. Ten years later and I am almost done with my masters at Harvard (I had to join the military first to pay for school) and I just sent in all my applications for my PhD in clinical psychology. My ex fiancé ended up marrying the guy she cheated on me with and then he slept around and ended up having a few kids with some of the women’s he slept with while married to her. She had a kid with him and she now lives at her parents house raising this kid alone. It was the most difficult time of my life but I am glad it happened because i used that pain to make everything about me better and it’s all going to pay off soon!
Listen to classic crime warrior poet. It's a song from back then that changed my perspective on life. It's funny I listen to Rogan talk about how phsycadellics or health changed people's lives but for me I always had music. Not just a few bands but a lot of bands. I was always good at using music as a medicine either to relate or to get answers or both.
I'm so glad for you that you've not only come out on top from that experience, but also because you're so self-aware and able to celebrate your strength and success. I'm grateful you shared your story. I think your comment has inspired a lot of people and will inspire many more. I know I come back to this album whenever I'm feeling heartbroken myself. Music brings us all together in the best of ways, even through the hardest things. Good on you for rising above and honoring your real self. :)
I couldn't agree more dude these guys are so talented it's insane it's as if they are reincarnated from the 70s to make music of the future I'm mean 50 years from now, wow so cool
“My face is red, and people change. I’ve changed for good this time.” These guys make self growth badass. There’s a reason this band changed my life as a kid and has stuck with me since.
Imagine them live in 06' 60 ppl max occupation. 1st row. Best show ever.!!! Saosin/bayside/alkaline trio! Bayside literally blew me back into outer space
What I actually like about this is how it reused one part of Abbas "SOS". The Carry On bit sounds like "When you're gone....how can I even try to go." And because I am in love with the Mad Caddies version of it, and this song reminds me of it...I like it..and the rest of the song. I actually like it when people cleverly take a melody from another song and put different words to it e.g Ghetto Superstar etc..
I saw these guys last night for the Taking Back Sunday Tell All Your Friends 10th anniversary tour and they were wicked! They both know how to put on a show! I was a fan before the show, but now I'm a fanatic about them! Way way way WAY sick!
One of my close friends from back in the day basically got me into this band not sure if it was him directly or the group i hungout with because he knew bayside.. well not too long ago took his life. I just have pretty great memories with him and i miss him. I just want to say thank you N.Y. I miss you man.
In 2005 I got a Victory compilation CD outside of a Slipknot concert in Ames, Iowa. Aiden, Silverstein, Bayside and many more became my favorite bands over night.
Thought id go back and listen to these guys after a year or something my music tatse really changed from bands like bayside, thousand foot krutch, etc to band like death, exodus, motorhead gotta say i this have a fondness for these guys.
Dude I was supposed to see them in November but I had to work and could t find someone to cover for me. Then I got tickets to see them in March 2020 but you know...everything started 😂😂 so both times I lost the chance to see them. Fuuuuck dude
YOU WILL NOT USE YOUR TRICKERY TO GET ME TO "THUMBS UP" YOUR COMMENT, BUT I DO CONCUR THAT BAYSIDE IS THE FUCKING BEST!!! No, really, I fucking love these guys :')
As soon as the siren on the police car goes, I hear one outside my window. Like wtf. That's crazy. And I heard this song on the day my boyfriend left for Buffalo. :(
